July 2009 edit

Re Beluga (sturgeon) -- I agree that the information about Obama and Putin is trivial and doesn't belong in the article, or anywhere else in an encyclopedia. NawlinWiki (talk) 18:21, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your note. Please read the talk page and revert your edit immediately. The content you have added is a copyright violation and as such must be removed. If you attempt to add it back you will be blocked. As I noted on the talk page of the article, there are additional problems with the material, specifically in terms of original research regarding whether a crime has been committed. However before that can be addressed, the copyright issue must be in order. I see you have added the material back while I have been writing this. Please revert your edit. --TeaDrinker (talk) 18:21, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hello. I see you have added the material back to the article. As such, I have blocked you for a period of three hours. In that time you can edit here, but nowhere else. Please be aware that if you return to editing in the same disruptive manner on your return from this block, you will only be blocked again for a longer time. I would be happy to unblock you at any time if you agree to not add the material back to the article without consensus on the talk page. If you wish to have another administrator review this block, add {{unblock|your reason here}} below this message, with a note as to why you wish to be unblocked. You have made several references to there being "no discussion" on this matter. In fact there is a lengthy discussion on the article talk page. As a matter of course, recently added controversial material is discussed on the talk page before it is added to the article, not the other way around. Write a note here if you have any questions or concerns; I will see any messages you post here. --TeaDrinker (talk) 18:29, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Undone edit

I undid a contribution here. I have not formed an opinion, but it was tagged and broke the later ref tags when removed. cygnis insignis 12:17, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
