Several things

edit

Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia. I think your editing may be consistent with a bit of a misunderstanding as to the nature of Wikipedia. We're not a content host or advertising service. Articles created can be edited by anyone, and must have some level of notability. I have not taken a look at the notability of the article you created, PandaShrimp Media, but the governing guidline on corporate notability is WP:CORP. Please do not remove the notice indicating the article was nominated for deletion (called an AfD notice) from the article. It links to a discussion which will decide whether the article will be kept (in accordance with WP:CORP and possibly criteria for speedy deletion). It usually takes seven days. You (and anyone else) can continue to edit the article (other than removing the AfD tag) as you would any other article.

The {{sprotect}} tag does not protect or semi-protect the article. Articles can only be protected by administrators; they place that tag just to notify other users that the article is semi-protected, but the tag itself does nothing.

I have also taken the liberty of removing the redirect from your talk page (this page) to the talk page of the article. In general, the article talk page is for discussion related to the article and your talk page is for messages to, from, and occasionally about you. I don't know of a specific policy or guidline indicating you shoud not redirect a userpage to an article, so I have not changed it. Common practice, however, if you do not want a user page is to redirect to your talk page.

If you have any questions or I can help with anything, feel free to leave a note on the bottom of my talk page, User_talk:TeaDrinker. You are welcome to participate in the discussion about the deletion of the PandaShrimp Media article (follow the link on the page). For more information in general about editing Wikipedia, check out the welcome page at Wikipedia:Introduction. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 17:52, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

One clarification, I saw the note that you left on the talk page of the article. I am not sure what copyright you are claiming, but any material submitted to Wikipedia must be licesed GFDL. There is a notice to this effect at the bottom of any text-window you edit in. GFDL is inconsistent with "all rights reserved," seecopyright policy for more information. It may be worth clarifying what you mean on the article talk page. --TeaDrinker 18:03, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Julie Stern

edit

An editor has nominated Julie Stern, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Julie Stern and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. PandaShrimp Media

A tag has been placed on PandaShrimp Media, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:PandaShrimp Media. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Wildthing61476 19:31, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

May 2007

edit

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with PandaShrimp Media. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Wildthing61476 19:43, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to blank out (or delete portions of) page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to PandaShrimp Media, you will be blocked from editing. Wildthing61476 20:07, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
