Requested username:

Request reason:

I made a username titled "yrmedia" in order to make updates to our nonprofit organization's wikipedia page, Youth Radio (which has changed it's name to YR Media) before I undestood that usernames must be associated with individuals. I have made a new account "juliamw" and am only attempting to update copy on the Youth Radio page to reflect our updated brand. I would like to request to change the page name to YR Media (formerly Youth Radio) and to be unblocked. Thank you!

Decline reason:

The block on User:Yrmedia applies to you, not to the account, and so by creating this account you are evading the block. This account is now blocked directly for abuse of multiple accounts. If you wish to be unblocked, please log in to your old account and follow the directions on your talkpage. Yunshui  11:41, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

This account is not directly blocked; I can find no such username with a search. Please copy and paste the exact message that appears when you attempt to edit. You will need to read about conflict of interest and paid editing before attempting to edit(compliance with the latter is required by Wikipedia's Terms of Use if you are paid). If you are able to edit, you should not edit articles in the area of your conflict of interest directly, instead making edit requests on article talk pages. 331dot (talk) 07:44, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
