Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion

edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. FDW777 (talk) 16:49, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi FDW777 we have found a link that states this album was on the official UK charts for feb 19th (no.36 and down to no.87). This is the link http://www.itunescharts.net/uk/artists/music/various-artists/albums/goa-chillout-zone-vol-9/ which is why we updated the Wikipedia for Oliver Sean as he is the producer of this album and his single is the first single on this compilation album. The reason I referenced that particular press release, which is directly from his record label is because that was the only reference I could find for that particular album.

So is the official chart link where the chart status is stated wrong?

One issue is that the chart you mentioned in the article is a different chart from the press release. The other, more pressing issue, is whether you have any conflict of interest relating to Oliver Sean. Do you have any connection to him? FDW777 (talk) 17:53, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
To clarify the first issue, could you explain why in this edit you added a claim that Oliver Sean had a Top 40 on the Official UK Charts (No.36) in 2020 when the press release you added does not makes that claim? FDW777 (talk) 18:12, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

The UK album chart was stated on the Goa chillout zone website, as is also stated on the link I sent you which states ‘UK Album Charts’ if you look towards the end of that page on the link where it states it clearly. I assumed that means the official UK charts. Secondly, the only article I could find about the Goa Chillout Zone was the one I linked to. There are proper press articles on Oliver Sean’s website but I can’t find those online.

Lastly, I have no direct connection to Oliver Sean aside from enjoying his music and following his career. JoyBrag (talk) 21:38, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
