Information

edit

Here are the Wikipedia links that I promised in the E-mail. I hope you find them useful.

Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines

Wikipedia:Neutral point of view

Wikipedia:Verifiability

Wikipedia:Citing sources

Wikipedia:No original research

Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not

Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons

Wikipedia:Civility

Wikipedia:Etiquette

Wikipedia:No personal attacks

Wikipedia:Resolving disputes

There are many others, but you'll be able to link into them all via the links I have listed here. If I didn't explain citations very well, you'll be able to learn more about them on those sites. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. Acalamari 21:49, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and here's another: Wikipedia: Three-revert rule. I broke this rule once; I got blocked. I thought it would be wise to tell you this. Acalamari 21:59, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Daniel Rodriguez

edit

Please do not remove templates or edit other users' comments from article talk pages, as you did on Talk:Daniel Rodriguez. | Mr. Darcy talk 06:00, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I pointed User:Operadog to quite a bit of reading material to explain what policies and guidelines were violated by that original article. S/he indicated that s/he and the other editors on that page are all editing in concert (no pun intended). | Mr. Darcy talk 19:47, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

You're Welcome

edit

You're welcome; if I can give help to Users, I will. Just one question: you said your work here is done. You're not leaving Wikipedia are you? If you are leaving, good luck; if you're staying, then I can say this piece of good advice: keep editing constructively. Acalamari 21:47, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rodriguez photos

edit

Thanks for the compliments. Every photograph I take and put on Wikipedia is licensed GDFL (you can view the licensing information by clicking on the photograph). This means you can use it, crop it, alter it, download it and sell it. The only stipulation: a photo credit to David Shankbone. Other than that - do what you like with them. Have a good morning. --David Shankbone 13:23, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Cag photo.jpg

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Cag photo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 06:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA reassessment of Daniel Rodríguez
