Spam/promotion

edit

Please don't spam yourself and/or your organization; Wikipedia is not a place to promote these. These subjects fail to meet the notability guidelines so unless you can explain otherwise, the contributed content should be removed.

Also, there's no need to vandalize other articles by dumping non-GFDL text from other websites there, which is clearly not allowed; it even says so near the 'Save page' button. Thanks, Simeon87 (talk) 22:33, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to repeat my comment about the aforementioned notability: Wikipedia is not a website where you can add whatever you want about yourself: only notable content is accepted so it's better to establish notability of the links/content first instead of simply putting it back every time and hoping it'll stay there. - Simeon87 (talk) 23:05, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I hope your account isn't being used solely to spam your userpage/biographical information. Spamming various pages with this or your personal web-sites is frowned upon, and reverting such on the basis of vandalism is not much better either. Any further instances of this could result in a block. seicer | talk | contribs 23:21, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for spamming and using varying IP addresses to circumvent previous warnings. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. seicer | talk | contribs 06:16, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Copy of the letter Joshua Jude sent Mr. Wales

edit

Mr. Wales, there is army of editors making war in a place war does not belong. I write to you now although Im sure you are most busy. However, no matter how much respect I show to the Jr. editors in wikipedia, I am ignored but yet focused on. Below is the type of letter and respect I show everyone. Please protect me and the Tucson folks I represent. Help?

Hello sir, you've blocked me from editing. You blocked my deputies from editing. It was not our intention to be disruptive but rather make a contribution. I represent a large number of interneters that act as an advisory panel for my network. I'm also a mayoral canidate in the city of Tucson which entails other online communities that in many ways advise me in regards to the Tucson relivant contributions I was adding a link to. Im somwhat new to the editing system here at Wikipedia and I was just made aware to the user chat areas where I seemed to have gathered several warnings in regards to my editing contributions. Im learning as I go and I would like to continue making contributions as an editor, had I been aware of the warnings leading up to my being blocked, I would have e-mailed you sooner sir. I only continued to submit drafts because I presumed myself a minor editor seeking a green light from an Administrative Editor. You are that editor. You have a name, a face, a respect. I'm not a spammer and I would hope my email today offers testimony to that end. I will submit as many drafts for your approval as you require but the Tucson and internet communities that were represented in the links deemed spam are very real and as majority advocate Wikipedia. We has a network hope to continue our relationship with Wikipedia. Tucson Central Office is an interactive internet monument visited by a community of Tucson voters that enjoy the site as a means of stayin in touch with each other and our local goverment. I myself am a Tucson resident and Mayoral canidate for the 2009 election. Sir, I represent a large network of interneters who would like to continue working under you and your Jr.editors. I registered this account and began editing under direction of our network board of directors. Our network is a social & information platform founded and opperated by the very same people who would even think to look up the word Tucson in your search engines. We simply want to be validated by an internet Encyclopedia we all refer to & direct others to. This very letter and it's content were subject to minor drafts & board approval! before I could send it. We all respect you and seek your validation. That was our intention. However, that has not been returned. Why? Because we are a town of hicks? We are not bad people, of course our IPS are the same, COX communications is the only internet provider we can afford! Adding to this point, I live in a complex that is 100% behind my election & they all have nothing better to do than gossip has a mob. I'm a leader but a modern one. I guide, influence, suggest. Outcomes are not always that evisioned. Walker Savage has been debriefed on said comments in regards to legal action. (not that he could afford it) Nobody here in Tucson wants anything more than to pull our parent and grandparents out of the dark ages! I have made great ground on this front, its not easy. We are a poor city with no money, our wages leave us personaly with no money and yet Ive been thrown into the role of leader with everyone around me. In the end the Tucson folks that tripped out today will be identified and debriefed. There will be no more trouble but we need to be left with our honor. I operate my entire network for near nothing which is great! LOL Cuz, thats the way running Tucson will be no money. Tru,city matched fund raising will not begin intil 2009, at which point my name can be verfied through Tucson's city clerk office online. I intend to keep my online operations as near free as economics will allow. Sir. May I represent my city in Wikipedia? Tucson Central Office deputies will register with valid emails and will send in copies of State ID. We simply want to represent our community. Tucson Group on myspace alone is 5,000 strong. The Group's leader is my Chief of Election, Mike Baldwin. Normal people with computers from Tucson, normal guy from Tucson bein honest. We will be more than respectful to policy and administration but you need to protect us from the wolves so to speak. K? thank you for the time Wikipedia.

Joshua Jude Chesser / President of Tucson Central Office
