Bitcoin edits edit

Hi Josh. Thanks for your recent edit to the Bitcoin page. I did have a quick question... your edit correctly reflects the source, but does so in a confusing way. Specifically, the construction "transactions of all bitcoin exchanges in the world" (from the sentence, "...it was estimated that 4.5% to 9% of all transactions of all bitcoin exchanges in the world were for drugs...") seems obtuse. As I understand it, the academic who wrote the paper is making an attempt to gauge the overall importance of Silk Road in the Bitcoin economy and does this using a proxy; he compares the total sales of Silk Road during his observation period with the total number of Bitcoins sold over the same time period. I think a better way to phrase this might be something along the lines of "4.5 to 9% of all bitcoins sold were used to purchase drugs..." Do you agree? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Waterboarding, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
