Elvia Zamudio edit

A tag has been placed on Elvia Zamudio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GhostPirate 15:24, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Elvia Zamudio edit

First, please observe talk page etiquette, by posting comments to the bottom of talk pages, finish your comments with ~~~~ (four tildes, which identifies by whom and when the comment was left), and review the civility policy at WP:CIVIL. At Wikipedia we have a notability guideline at WP:N, which Ms. Zamudio does not meet. That's why her aticle was deleted. It makes no difference that I am Latino, I cannot play favorites to other Latinos (in this case, Latina). Carlossuarez46 02:00, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to chime in here: I'm not Latino either but that deletion was perfectly normal. Please also note that although Spike was out of line in his message a few lines above, he does have a point: your edits to WWE Diva Search have not been constructive and you should stop introducing Elvia Zamudio in the article unless you have a credible source to back it up. Speedy deletion of Cascabel de la sierra edit

A tag has been placed on Cascabel de la sierra requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Billy-talk 16:11, 29 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. Proposed deletion of File:Cascabel 2.jpg edit

The file File:Cascabel 2.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded for Cascabel de la sierra. No other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:44, 25 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
