Hi,

I see you've been trying to improve the article with additional information. Please bear in mind that as an encyclopedia, information needs to be verifiable, and come from reliable sources. Somebody removed information about farming, but with a little research, I've been able to provide a reference to show that the area does engage in sheep, cattle, and emu farming, and I've added the information back to the article. Your update to the population did not provide a reiable source, and so has been reverted to the last published census information from Statistics New Zealand. If you have some reliable sources providing more current information on the population, that would be great! Regards. -- Whpq 15:06, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
