Substantively, first, I see that you added bullets to the definition section; I wonder if they could be condensed a bit. Second, I see you added a history section as planned. Most of that, though, is a history of sound recording and I thought you'd be focussing on the history of the professionalization of the field as well as the the marketing and meaning of the "pro" moniker. You touch on this in the last paragraph, but I think speaking to events such as the establishment of professional publications, organizations, and certifications, as well as the popularization of the term is where your contribution would be greatest. Perhaps LibrarianBTeam can help you with sources for this. It'd be good to recruit other interested Wikipedians in this endeavor as well, if you can. -Reagle (talk) 14:17, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
