Fru Ndi article

edit

Hi, Joker1000f! I'm glad to see you editing Cameroon-related articles and carefully citing your sources. Unfortunately, one of the sources you cited seems to not work. Can you check the source you used for your recent edits to 2008 Cameroon anti-government protests and John Fru Ndi and see if you can maybe find an alternate source for it? I get an error every time I try to read the article you linked to. Thanks again! — Dulcem (talk) 11:31, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Allafrica.com

edit

Ah, good to see that Le Messager is back online. A couple of other points:

  • I've read elsewhere that links to Allafrica.com are OK, but because that website is simply an aggregate news source, we should try to track down the original article whenever possible. So, for example, if you are using an Allafrica article that reprints something from The Post in Buea, it's better to simply go to The Post website and cite the article directly.
  • Secondly, be careful of falling afoul of Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. You have been editing a lot of pages related to the Cameroonian constitutional ammendments of this moth, and that's great. But we can't only provide the opposition arguments; per WP:NPOV we must also present the side of the government and those politicians who supported the changes. I'd assume the Cameroon Tribune would be a good source for this kind of information.

That's it! Thanks again for your contributions! — Dulcem (talk) 22:05, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
