Critiquing the guides to guides

In fairness, I should point out what I've been saying at User talk:SandyGeorgia/ArbVotes2011/Guides in case you haven't seen it already. I did notice a few other 'guides to guides' floating around, mostly as sections at the end of the author's main guide. And one humorous riff on the whole 'guide to a guide to a guide' recursion.
