Milton Keynes Hoard

Like other named hoards (and the MK Museum), this is a proper name & needs the capital - see WP:VAMOS. I have moved it back, you will have to change all those redirects you've messed about with. Please don't do any more undiscussed moves. Johnbod (talk) 18:37, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

DYK for Milton Keynes

On 12 June 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Milton Keynes, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that "one of the biggest concentrations of Bronze Age gold known from Britain" was found in archaeological investigations during the development of Milton Keynes? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Milton Keynes. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Milton Keynes), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

red link

I saw wp:write the article first, "This page is an essay. It contains the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. This page is not one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community.", "For the official guideline on this topic, see wp:Red link" Now, what exactly was it you wanted me to see? 82.14.227.91 (talk) 11:47, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

If the topic is wp:notable and doesn't have an article, then write it, then refer to it.
Of course that is ideal, typically people find that a topic that they expected to find in wikipedia is not. So in the meantime, (for examplein the E numbers article), write your text without a link, then go write that article, then come back and link to it.
By the way, I wouldn't normally bother to fix a red link but you had another error in your citation. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 16:55, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

Have you even read wp:Red link? It says nothing of the kind. As I alluded to in my edit summary, "interfering with current editing", the article was being edited, the "error" had already been fixed, but it's OK, you can have it, as I see having credit means so much to you. 82.14.227.91 (talk) 06:31, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
