Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:35, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Please also make sure to cite reliable sources for all added material. Thank you. Marokwitz (talk) 16:35, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edit to the page Iran – United States relations appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Do take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you.   Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Triona (talk) 21:10, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Iran – United States relations. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Please exercise especial care when editing direct quotes. Inserting "derision quotes" in a direct quotation, as you have done in your last edit, is simply not appropriate. Nandesuka (talk) 21:29, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Short block - please reply

edit

Hi. I have temporarily blocked your editing privileges for a few hours. You need to take a deep breath, calm down, and take a cold look at your recent edits.

Specifically, look at this edit here. Consider what you are doing. Putting questions of content aside (in other words, whatever one's position on the political topic in the article is), in this edit (as in others) you have:

  • Inserted unsourced opinion.
  • Put a signature ("Victor Jara 20:52, 9 August 2010 (UTC)") inside the text of the article, not on a talk page.
  • Commented on the article itself.

Maybe you just got confused and thought you were on the talk page, but this is consistent with what I saw earlier on another article. Wikipedia articles are not internet forums to conduct debates in.

I am happy to lift this block once you acknowledge that you have read and understood this message, and agree to be more careful in the future about maintaining the distinction between articles and their talk pages. Nandesuka (talk) 21:36, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
