Janette Smith (the article)

edit

I've restored the article that you started, and have cleaned it up quite a bit to be more encyclopedic and less like a personal resume, hope you don't mind. I'm looking for references that can verify the information (Our criteria for references is pretty strict). Do you have any online sources/links you can provide where you've been Interviewed or written about (unpaid, unsolicited, reliably?). That would be a great help. Some other interesting guidelines you should be aware of, conflict of interest guideline, notability policy, and the deletion process. I'm going to look for sources now, and I'll watch your talkpage for a response from you. If the article ends up at the deletion page, don't panic, it will get five days for others to come to consensus about whether your page should be here or not. Welcome to Wikipedia!  :-) Keeper ǀ 76 14:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for taking the time to get me cleaned up and on the right track. I don't mind at ALL and am grateful for your gift of time. I did include some links (interviews) and web links to substantiate I am who I say I am...etc. I see you already found the links to the stations I worked for. Thank you. I added the call letters (references) for two other stations I worked at since they have pages in Wikipedia and list me amongst their notable alum. I'm trying to still figure out the picture upload thing... I uploaded something in the commons area but can figure out for the life of me how to get it to this page. I have nominated Janette Smith, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Janette Smith. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:25, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
