Peer Review by james_duguid1 Your first sentence in your first paragraph is a tautology. I think you might be missing something you meant to write. Why did you capitalize “Soviet Energy Problems?” Is this an official/academic term for some phenomenon? It might be better to say something like, “this issue was among the foremost challenges the USSR faced in its energy policy.” I think you are missing a citation for your claim about energy problems contributing to the economic destabilization of the USSR. Caroline Hall: This is a great start! I'd be really interested to see a comparison of USSR policies and present-day Russia, and how they might have impacted one another. You seem to have found a lot of good relevant sources for your article, and this is an interesting topic. I'm curious how much of the USSR's nuclear program was directed towards energy production.
