- Again, thank you for your concern. However, they are correct, as the ranks and insignia of the Canadian Air Force are identical to the ones used in the Canadian Army. The only difference is the blue and green(only on the dress uniform, on combats they are there is no difference), as well as the eagle on the Air Force insignia(only on the dress uniform also). - Interesting. And unusual too, I believe. i.e. I'm not aware of any other nation where the Air Force insignia is identical to the army insignia - the same rank name is quite common, but not the insignia.

- I see I misinterpreted your reply. Yes, the difference is the background colour, not the arrangement of stripes, crowns and maple leaves.
- Never-the-less, on a page where almost all of the insignia are some shade of blue, the green "doesn't quite look right". Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 04:12, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Battle of Saipan contradiction? edit
Why do you say the Battle of Saipan article contradicts the Order of Battle? Looks basically the same to me. As a reminder, that template does prompt you to explain on the talk page what exactly the concern is... they're certainly similar enough that if there is something that doesn't match, you could probably tag that specific division that's only mentioned on one page with "citation needed." You will see that the template is not applicable to an article such as Guido de Marco (from which I have removed it yet again), as that article is not undergoing heavy editing.
