Ok. I have gone ahead and userfied the page at User:Jmclear/Jonathan McLear. By having it at a subpage, instead of at your user page, is more in line with it being a work in progress instead of a self-advertising user page. I have also disabled the categories, so that they are not active on the page in user space. You can now work on it to try to get it up to standards before you try to have it be a article-space page again.

I suggest you read WP:BIO, WP:MUSIC, and especially WP:COI. On the first two, pay particular attention to the notability criteria. Usless you meet one of these criteria, you are likely to continue to be deleted if you try to put your article back into the main article space. Also, you will need reliable, independant sourcing of the reason you are notable. Without these, the article will also be in trouble. The COI link above is also very important. While it is not prohibited to create/edit articles about yourself, doing so is discouraged for a number of reasons. It very, very often ends badly. People are rarely able to be neutral about themselves, and the project requires that article be neutral about the subjects. Check out the link and at the least be aware of the problems you face editing an article about yourself. - TexasAndroid 12:58, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
