Ways to improve Design Commons

edit

Hi, I'm Vermont. Jmatroos, thanks for creating Design Commons!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thank you for disclosing your conflict of interest, but the article currently doesn't have any sources that are not from it's own publications or website. It will need independent sources. See WP:42.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hi, Vermont. Thank you for your comments and feedback! The help is definitely appreciated. Of the pages I've referenced, references 1 & 2 are independent. I'll keep adding and refining as new independent resources become available. Do you have any suggestions for additional references in the meantime?--Jmatroos (talk) 10:40, 11 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Design Commons

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Design Commons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Note that the speedy deletion nomination was declined, but please add more reliable, independent sources. Thanks! Vermont | reply here 21:14, 11 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
