Welcome edit

Hello, Jlpspinto, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! == Quotation in Cemetry Gates == edit

Thanks for the message: no I don't know that for a fact. Indeed if one of us can trace the correct quotation, I think the comment is fine for the article. AndyJones 08:03, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Isaac Newton edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Isaac Newton, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Borisblue 18:55, 6 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh dear, I'm sorry- didn't realise that you reverted to a vandalized version (that happens to me once in a while too :P)Borisblue 19:11, 6 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stadium Arcadium edit

One of my future projects is Stadium Arcadium. Generally speaking, only the most established reviews (i.e., Rolling Stone, AMG, Entertainment Weekly, and Q) should be displayed in the infobox. When I write the actual critical response in prose form it will include several other reviews from lesser known publications like Pitchfork. Grim-Gym and I are almost done with Flea; I'm hoping to tackle Stadium Arcadium sometime soon after, but it may be delayed as Red Hot Chili Peppers themselves has recently topped my importance-list. hi edit

Hi. I found you in categories of users who can contribute in English and Portuguese. I myself am a native speaker of English, but I'm well on my way to learning Portuguese. Just check out my user page and talk page, and join in any of the discussions. To keep updated, you can even put a watch on my user page, which will automatically watch my talk page. :-) learnportuguese (talk) 19:17, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

January 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Carlos Eduardo Rocha, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. →GƒoleyFour← 02:04, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
