Molecular connections

edit

A tag has been placed on Molecular connections, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DarkSaber2k 10:01, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices, as you did with Molecular connections. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. DarkSaber2k 10:18, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Curation and annotation

edit

A tag has been placed on Curation and annotation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DarkSaber2k 10:37, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. DarkSaber2k 10:40, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Protein-protein interaction. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. DarkSaber2k 10:51, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to ADME, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. Notability of Molecular Connections

edit

A tag has been placed on Molecular Connections, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Onorem 10:41, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

You can see that I am a new user and I have taken interest in wiki very recently, you can see my passion and continued interest to contribute to wiki, I think I deserve another chance! So do consider my unblock request, you can see I will continue to make significant contributions to wiki. This is my sincere request do consider it.

Decline reason:

Looking through your editing history it seems that the only contributions you wish to make are self-promotional ones that advertise your company and its products. You need to demonstrate that you have real material you can contribute to the encyclopedia before we can unblock you. --  Netsnipe  ►  12:46, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click View source on that article.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that page at the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = Article title =)
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article.
  • When are you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked and placed on probation.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you.

I agree with HighInBC and Netsnipe. Please read the text above ("Your request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of"), and if you think you've done everything, repost {{unblock}}. Note that requesting unblock again without acknowledging and completing the above will more-than-likely result in this page being protected because of unblock-request abuse.
