Joe Girardi edit

I'm done with the edit warring. There's a comment page. I agreed with his idea and you simply re-amplified him as a Cub. Use the discussion page before dealing with "sensitive editing". Mghabmw 17:40, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

"I would advise that you stay away from articles you got in trouble in though; another breach of the rules and people will not be so kind."

They shortened user:Pascack's block and wrote that. Girardi is one of those articles. Use the discussion page. I'm not changing the colors, though I do find red on blue pleasing to the eye to be the top color, but it is seemingly fairer. Mghabmw 17:47, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just use the talk page. Mghabmw 17:52, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

hello? edit

You would 'advise' me? Is that a threat? What are you going to do? Mghabmw 13:54, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just find it funny how your first ever edit is about Joe Girardi and then you go and fight for infobox colors for former NY Mets. Especially at the timing your account popped up. Maybe it's just coincidence. Mghabmw 14:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Listen, I don't believe you and for the slight chance that you may be telling the truth, you are carrying on the work of Pascack, a recently blocked user. You just jumped right in to do what he does without skipping a beat and your first edit just happened to be during the short time when the block was lifted. Mghabmw 14:20, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Change 'em from red on blue. Mghabmw 14:54, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gary Carter edit

That picture you put of Gary Carter is not an HoF picture. Though I know you're a Mets fan (hmm...), please refrain from uploading copyrighted pictures, especially ones with the wrong tags. Mghabmw 22:22, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

You cannot modify the photo. You did. Therefore, it is not within the limitations set by the HoF. Mghabmw 22:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

There's a perfectly fine picture of Gary Carter. Mghabmw 22:36, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Are you going to change existing pictures? Mghabmw 22:41, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pictures edit

Just find the picture of him, hit print screen. Paste in paintbrush (or any image editor) and save as *.png If there's ANY captions on the picture, you MUST write them down on the infobox AND on the image page. Take Carlton Fisk for example.

And please, try extracting an image that shows the player representing the team he's inducted under. I'm a Yankees fan, there's a pic of Wade Boggs in a Yankees uniform - I uploaded a Boston pic.

And try finding a caption that doesn't sound so... opinionated. Mghabmw 22:46, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

There's already a pic of Tom Seaver on his page. Mghabmw 22:47, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please give correct sourcing statements for your images and familiarize yourself with Wikipedia image policy. If a free image is available for a given article, instead of one with a copyright on it, we must use the free one. You must assume that all images you find online, unless stated otherwise, are copyrighted. Please do not lie about having taken an image yourself, as you seem to have done here. Block notice edit

You have been warned and I am now assuming that you are familiar with Wikipedia image and editing policies. Fighting an edit war, aimed at replacing free with copyrighted images, is an blatant violation of two Wikipedia policies. Your block will expire in 24h. If you wish to continue editing Wikipedia, please mind our copyright and editing policies: don't fight edit wars (even if they're slow-motion) and don't replace free with copyrighted images. I'm not going to touch it again but I still dont agree with it, I mean most people wanted Yankees colors and hes in the Hall of Fame as a Yankee, so I dont know why we dont change it Yankees colors, the only reason I think Kingston Eagle wants neutral colors is because he voted for A's colors--Yankees10 22:48, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
