I just saw your comment about the cube example on my talk page. That's an interesting point! There are good reasons not to be indifferent even in the integer case (e.g., cubes of different sizes are not invariant with respect to manufacturing costs); those same reasons apply in the continuous case too, so the example really is rather poor. I don't mind if you replace the text with something better, but it really is important to highlight the principle's lack of invariance with respect to parameter transformations.
