Does wikipedia want to answer people's questions, or not?

I think it is better to provide answers which are based upon conjecture than to reduce the scope of information which wikipedia has.

Wikipedia's strength is in it's fast assimilation of information that is yet to be documented (at least in paper form). Where reliable references are needed, paper encyclopedias can provide them.
