Speedy deletion of Mercaz HaTorah edit

A tag has been placed on Mercaz HaTorah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ner Yisroel edit

Hello. I've been following you edits on Ner Yisroel for a bit. As I noted in my edit summary, words like "prominent" and "much" outdoor space were removed under the WP policy of "peacock terms". As I don't want to edit-war with you, please read the policy and either refrain from using such terms in articles or specifically justify them on the talk page.

Regarding your re-insertion of the havchona between freshman and six-month old students and the like. Most of the information on the Ner Yisroel page is unsourced. This is unfortunate because it could all be deleted as unsourced and original research in one shot. When I reviewed the article, I tried to remove items that were not notable and clearly the result of original research.

Rather than revert any of your edits I'd like for you to try and review the article with an eye towards these thoughts and edit accordingly. If you have any way of sourcing the article that of course would be the best. Joe407 (talk) 06:03, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Jewshmu! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 943 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Tzvi Berkowitz - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

AfD nomination of Tzvi Berkowitz edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Tzvi Berkowitz. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tzvi Berkowitz. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
