User talk:Jeremie@theLab/Archive 3

Latest comment: 17 years ago by Jeremie@theLab in topic S3 Ep. Recap for "Tidal Wave"

IMPORTANT! edit

To all users who are in the habit of contacting me. I thank you for talking to me often, and strongly encourage you to continue, as I consider all of you my friends. However, due to the volume of messages coming in, keeping up is getting hectic. Often, I find old conversations continuing and I don't find the post until a few days after it is left. This flies in the face of my philosophy of quick response. I am hereby implementing a new set of rules for my talk page for my and your convenience.

  • 1) Everything preceding this message will be archived, and won't be continued.
  • 2) Rules for Posting: When you wish to post here, start your discussion as always. HOWEVER, the minute a new topic of discussion is posted underneath the old one, abandon the old one. If you wish to continue that conversation, start a new topic of discussion with a message informing me that this is a continuation discussion.
EXAMPLE

Aelita@Lyoko starts a discussion on story arcs. I reply, back and forth ping-pong of talk.

Rob posts a new topic on episode templates. I respond to that, ping-pong talk.

Angie Y. asks for suggestions on a new fanfiction. Talk.

Aelita@Lyoko wishes to continue the story arcs. She makes a new discussion thread entitled, "Continuation: Story Arcs" or whatever. She and I talk.

Rob wishes to do the same. He posts a new topic, "Continuation: Episode Templates." Talk.

This is how I'm restructuring things. If other users want to get in on a discussion, (i.e., K9-LVR and I are talking, and ShogoFan3000 wants to get in on the talk. He can, by all means. As can all other users.

That's it. If you have questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, etc., leave them in this specially marked section that I will check periodically.

That's a really bad idea. We'll end up with a billion "Continuation: whatever" headings. We should stick to how talk pages always have worked: just post in the correct section. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 07:45, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
All right, so goes my failed attempt at streamlining. This will be harder for me, but I'll adapt. Boy I crumble easily! One piece of opposition and I abandon my ideas! I must work on that moral flaw...--Jeremie@theLab 02:15, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

General Discussion on Talk Page Rules edit

New episodes edit

I don't see it on my schedule, so what is it called? To add to that, I'm fairly certain it's not airing tommorow , or anytime soon for that matter. It airs tommorow in France. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 03:22, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's what I thought. Hate to burst your bubble here, but that's not going to be the premiere. They'd have annouced it if it were. We'd have seen at least one commercial. We'd at least have the proper English title (you were thinking of "Right to the Heart", by the way). Code Lyoko is a Miguzi show. You can be assured that it will air on a Monday, we'll know at least a month in advance (maybe more), and we'll have at least ten titles by that point. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 03:41, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
As for your other question, use this whenever it becomes necessary.

It's not the same as the current style, but I need to convert that anyway. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 03:41, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
If you and everyone else are really lucky, I'll be wrong and Cartoon Network will have done just about the stupidest thing I could ever imagine. My suggestion is that you watch, but don't get your hopes up. Best case scenario is that you'll get screenshots about 6 hours after the episode airs. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 04:01, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

City? State? edit

Um...I don't know. Really, I don't. They could be in California (destruction of the Golden Gate Bridge, anyone?). Odd used to live somewhere up in the central northern states, where it snows every winter. West coast will probably work, since Kenshin's family makes seasonal trips back to Japan to visit relatives or whatever. I haven't thought so far as to what city, though. I'm beginning to see what "Franz Hopper" means when he says that K9 and I should take up geography again. I barely know the capitals in the USA, and I know almost none of the cities! Good idea for what to do with the archiving, although it probably will mean that you'll have a lot more archiving to do. Tell you what. To help out and keep your talkpage from getting overloaded, you can come over to my page to talk. Like I said at the end of one of the conversations you archived, getting my talkpage too long is the least of my worries right now! -- Aelita@Lyoko 16:42, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

No Fear! edit

I don't think that Aelita@Lyoko is going anywhere. I actually don't think my mom thinks anything's bad about Code Lyoko; it's just that we spend so much time on it. At least, that's what she says. Actually, Aelita is the one who brings it up the most, and I just bear with it. I like Code Lyoko, don't get me wrong! I just have a hard time tolerating it day after day! I haven't mentioned the "Franz Hopper" thing to him yet; the subject has yet to come up again. Aelita has been reading your message over my shoulder, and she's still laughing at that concentration camp thing! =D Well, anyway, it's nice to hear from you again! -- K-9 LVR 20:24, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

P.S. Aelita@Lyoko prefers "Aelita" over "A@L."

Crushed dreams... edit

NOOOO!! This is the worst thing that could ever happen! CL's third season premiee is not tonight. --User:Angie Y.

Aww, really? That is too bad. I thought it was on a monday in the first place, though. Anyway, have hope! It will be soon! -- Aelita@Lyoko 23:19, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have a feeling that Jim and Odd will get into an argument that will eventually be fixed up. --User:Angie Y.

Someguy0830 already told me ahead of time that this wasn't the premier (curses discreetly). What's worse, is that I didn't even get to see the episode tonight! I was in the car and I saw it was 6:57 and my brain was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! So, what was the episode? Did they rewind to Season 1 or something? --Jeremie@theLab 01:33, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, it was just a repeat of Just in Time. Oh well. It'll probably really start in January or February or something... >_> ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 08:35, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Academy edit

Stumble. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 02:46, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stumble over what? -- K-9 LVR 21:48, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I just asked him if he went to a school whose article he editted. I asked him if he attended it and knew about the article, or just "stumbled" over it. Someguy apparently just found it out of the blue. --Jeremie@theLab 23:41, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Some of our other ideas for New and Improved edit

JG and I concocted one particular idea for New and Improved, with an actual episode being alluded to and referenced (Contact):

XANA attempts to kill Sissi once again, as revenge for allowing Franz Hopper to possess her and communicate his message through her beautiful body. Sissi, apparently, has little memory of this (the last thing she did see though, before going unconscious again, was the main computer screen in the Lab at the Factory). All the rest appears to be a blur. Jim, their (former) PE teacher now turned best friend, theorizes that XANA wants to put Sissi to death in an attempt to weaken the team at a severe level. Then, with one team member out of the way, the others will follow, in a domino effect. --User:Angie Y.

Awesome! Definitely do it! Where are you going to insert it in the story though? I think we should do it after XANA destroys Paris and the gang does the RTTP. After that, since I didn't think of much except DCPJ research into the disappearances of thousands, it was all falling action. This will be a great pick-up! I'm looking forward to it. How's the next chapter coming? --Jeremie@theLab 23:57, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Chapter 7 through 8 are already posted. --User:Angie Y.

=D! Take me to the link! --Jeremie@theLab 00:00, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

--User:Angie Y.

I actually just got to the website another way. Sorry! I just couldn't wait to see chapter 8...Hey! That rhymes! Anyway, that was a really good chapter. XANA's gone nuts! I take it that if we have Paris battles coming up, that's in the next chapter(s). Alternatively, you could have Ulrich, William, Sam, Odd and Sissi together in Paris, which forms a nice group. --Jeremie@theLab 00:09, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Chapter 9 will be called "Return, Interrupted". --User:Angie Y.

Sounds ominous. --Jeremie@theLab 00:31, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Who is your favorite character in the story so far? --User:Angie Y.

Sissi, for sure, at least until you develop Ulrich and Yumi more.--Jeremie@theLab 01:53, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I personally prefer Sissi and Jim. Jim's tenacity is the same one he had in Code: Earth and False Start! =DDDDDDD --User:Angie Y.

Jeremie - is @ the lab! edit

Hi @theLab guy (I mean you), I see we both have great signatures! What do you mean "Of course! So how do I just pay online?"?--•Sean•gorter• 14:00, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

'Sup? I like your signature too! I noticed it on the signature shop page. Awesome color choice! About the question of mine, NikoSilver and I were joking around and I just responded. Notice the :-) "clownish" face next to my comments. So, welcome to my page! What do you do here on the great Wikipedia?  Jeremie@theLab
Contribute. Talk. Sig modify. Simply join groups for userboxes. Anything else? •Sean•gorter• 04:25, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Active, aren't we! I mainly write episode articles for Code Lyoko, but I edit other articles that fall into my various areas of expertise. I also like to talk...a lot!  Jeremie@theLab
Well, I am going to add you in my list of buddies located in my userpage! Happy Lyoking (like it?)! •Sean•gorter•(Talk) 01:09, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Lyoking. Classic! I'm going to start using that as a phrase the next time a sitution arises. Awesome about the buddies list! So what do you like? I can send you video clips from my cache that can pinpoint your interests, all for your entertainment. You like Tetris? I'll get you not one, but two hilarious clips for it. You like V for Vendetta with Finnish power metal songs? I can get you that. You name it, I can probably get it.  Jeremie@theLab
You're saying you like the word 'Lyoking'? Anyway, I like to play Chess and I'm real good at it. I'm currently playing a game: Wikipedia:Esperanza/Coffee Lounge/Chess#Board 6. If you like, I can start a game against you! •Sean•gorter•(Talk) 05:38, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am really bad a chess. But that doesn't get me down, and playing would be fun. Trouble is, I can only get on at 9:00 every night.  Jeremie@theLab

What other games do you like? •Sean•gorter•(Talk) 00:40, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Let's see here...I like Tetris, Lotus Turbo Challenge and Asteroid. Then for XBOX I like Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3 (when it comes out), Soul Calibur 2, Project Gotham Racing. For my laptop computer, I like Sim City 3000, Sim City 3000 Unlimited, the Myst series, Roller Coaster Tycoon. That about covers it. How about you?  Jeremie@theLab
I mostly like strategy games. Wanna check out a new comic I just created? If you like click here. •Sean•gorter•(Talk) 02:57, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Interesting comic!...many levels of understanding one could get from that. I actually believe it takes a high IQ to understand that. Though, the character development is stellar! Each person correlates to his own name, and there is complete randomness throughout this. (Vacation to United States Armed Forces? ROFL) I like it a lot. BRING ON MUCUS MAN! *poot*  Jeremie@theLab
Saywhat-man is my newest comic. Not on Wikipedia yet. Episode three is WWII! •Sean•gorter•(Talk) 07:09, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

NOOOOO!! edit

I heard that Yumi will deny a relationship with Ulrich! NOOOOOOO!! --User:Angie Y.

Gah! Tell me it's rumor!  Jeremie@theLab
Heard right, you did. Just friends, nothing more. Kinda sad, but she was tired of all the back and forth jealousy. Other than that, however, it was an awesome episode. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs)
You're talking about it as if the episode already aired...it didn't did it?  Jeremie@theLab
It did in France. I downloaded the French version. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 02:05, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh that must have been fun. Where did you download it? I don't care if I don't understand French. I must see it! Btw, are you a linguist and fluent in French? You seem to be.  Jeremie@theLab
eMule and no, I don't know French. I translated codelyoko.fr's section on the episode to get an understanding of it. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 02:08, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, here's an idea...what if Odd's new girlfriend isn't Sissi after all? I mean, in Teddigozilla Yumi is okay with Ulrich taking Milly to the dance because she's going with Odd, in Ultimatum Odd gives Yumi the coat that XANA-Prof throws at them, and in Revelation Yumi rescues Odd from the well! See where I'm going? OK, I could be dreaming, but still... -- Aelita@Lyoko 03:28, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I hope that Yumi ends up with Jeremie!!! --Gravity Control

That would be... interesting. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 19:18, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
If Yumi gets Jeremie, who gets Aelita? Ulrich or Odd? -- Aelita@Lyoko 19:56, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I've heard a lot of non-canon shippings going around. YumixOdd, OddxSissi, YumixJeremie, XANAxAelita (lol :-) the list goes on. Let's check all of these out! I mean, what would a YumixOdd shipping be like? Probably crazy. I'm thinking that anyone who becomes girlfriends with Odd will become slightly eccentric, since Odd's personality rubs off so easily on others. YumixJeremie...well there's an off-the-cuff combo! I'd be interested in seeing that come to fruition, if not in the series, then in the fanfics! And, if Yumi gets Jeremie, Odd should get Aelita because Ulrich seems so awkward in social situations...oooh...now that would be intriguing. Who can see Aelita and Ulrich together at a techno party?:) And, welcome to my page Gravity Control! I've actually been looking around for you on Wikipedia since I joined, basically! --Jeremie@theLab 02:10, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Jim is an enemy? edit

Does the group consider Jim to be an enemy? Why does he seem to hate the group? --User:Angie Y.

Do they? He seems to be more of a minor antagonist rather than a serious enemy. As for hating the group...I don't think he does. It's probably an effect of his Military service and that fact that you have to be tough as a Campus Supervisor. --Jeremie@theLab 19:12, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

TT: Trouble in Tokyo premieres TONIGHT! =D edit

TT: Trouble in Tokyo premieres TONIGHT! --User:Angie Y.

What's that :D? --Jeremie@theLab 19:12, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

A Teen Titans movie.

In other news, I got the DVD box set! =D I'm watching Rock Bottom. Any luck on your scanner? --User:Angie Y.

Awesome! I like the Teen Titans, really interesting series. Congrats on the episode box set! I'll be looking for it. As for the scanner, I'm out of luck for now. --Jeremie@theLab 01:46, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Darn. BITP's shaping up quite nicely, too! --User:Angie Y.

We talking about new chapters? (crosses fingers) --Jeremie@theLab 02:03, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes. --User:Angie Y.

You know something, Angie Y? I am so jealous; you have the boxed set already! Jeremie@theLab, I like Teen Titans, too. I've got a ton of fanfics in my head about that show! My favorite titan is Raven. Why? I'm not sure; she's nothing like me. Maybe I just like her because she's spooky. What about you two? Who do you like best? -- Aelita@Lyoko 22:41, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I like Star Fire. She's got the coolest power, but at the same time acts like the group victim. Her attempts at communication using really cheesy alien jargon add to her already conflicted character. Plus, her energy orbs are equally destructive and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. --Jeremie@theLab 00:34, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Jimbo and Sissi's changes of heart edit

What do you like most about the changes of heart in Sissi and Jim in New and Improved? --User:Angie Y.

The fact that they are not being jerks anymore. That's a big plus.  Jeremie@theLab

Oooooh...=D edit

[1]

Ooooh! =D I bet this is one of those new romantic plots! =D --User:Angie Y.

Oh I hope not. Mrs. Hertz and Jim?! Just can't see that coming to fruition...at least not without killing something about the show. But, that is a pretty funny image. Jim looks completely clueless!  Jeremie@theLab

Actually, I suspect that she is a lot younger than she appears. --User:Angie Y.

That is plausible, since she doesn't have any wrinkles in her skin. Smooth as silk.  Jeremie@theLab

Plus, I think he likes her.

(Sorry about this, I'm just kinda sleepy from all this excitement. --User:Angie Y.

That's perfectly all right. I get over excited about stuff too!  Jeremie@theLab

NO!! edit

The Forest of Lyoko will be no more in Season 3! :'( --User:Angie Y.

Really? That's weird. I know that you can kill monsters but how can you kill a Sector? Kind of sad, since that was the most aesthetically pleasing sector. Are they going to replace it with something else? Like a Death or Lava Sector? (I'm just misfiring random suggestions now)  Jeremie@theLab

I just want the sectors back! :'( --User:Angie Y.

Don't worry, I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for killing off the best sector after Carthage...I hope.  Jeremie@theLab
THEY'RE DOING WHAT!!! That was my favorite sector! The Lyoko page said in the Forest Sector section that most of the plot-focused adventures happened there, and now they're just throwing it away! It was the prettiest, too! You can bet that no matter what happens, Xanadu will stay intact through all of the arcs. None of the gang could bear to see any piece just vanish (although Kenshin sometimes says otherwise about the Mountains). -- Aelita@Lyoko 02:14, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

This season is getting worse and worse! D:< --User:Angie Y.

Well, Jeremie is going to find a way to bring back the Forest, according to some guys on LyokoFreak! ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 20:17, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
How?! --User:Angie Y.
Backup file? Jeremie does have that restricted access portion of the computer.  Jeremie@theLab
Whatever it is, you can bet Jeremie will pull it off. He's a genius...like someone else I know whom I met right here on Wiki... -- Aelita@Lyoko 03:20, 19 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, I think XANA just dematerialized the forest sector, rather than deleting it. Just like how a monster's structure is not lost when it dies, and XANA can re-create another later, Jeremie should be able to rematerialize the sector.
:'( Are you sure? --User:Angie Y.
It happened before in Common Interest: the ice sector started dematerializing, and it rematerialized when the power came back on. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 12:12, 19 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ahem, (cheeks flush), well, I don't know if I'm a Jeremie level genious. He is much more profficient in mathematics than I am (see my "intermediate mathematician" userbox. Jeremie is definitely and advanced one) I may be in quite a few tough classes, but I don't know if that qualifies as genious. But I am quite flattered nonetheless. As for our forestless state, I'm agreeing with Rob. The sector will probably be rematerialized in some way, shape or form.  Jeremie@theLab
Was I that obvious? I guess I think of you as a genius because when I try to imagine what you look like, it's as Jeremie sitting at that supercomputer. When someone's name suggests a picture, I tend to visualize that picture. -- Aelita@Lyoko 21:31, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I suppose if I sent you a picture you might see some similarities. Except I don't have blond hair and I where a hoodie most of the time. You would see me hunched over a laptop.  Jeremie@theLab
Cool. I don't think that I look much like Aelita, although my hair's about the same length. I have a pink hoodie, though, like she does; I bought it in Rome! -- Aelita@Lyoko 20:29, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tidal Wave edit

XANA is going to try and delete another sector in the 3rd episode! I don't know if he will succeed, though... ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 15:44, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I added the episode box for Tidal Wave (Code Lyoko episode). Looks like the US is going to overtake France's airing dates again... ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 21:38, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Xana attacks the team by possessing a large amount of food. At the same time, he tries to destroy the Mountain sector by submerging it in water, but Odd and Aelita go to Carthage to stop him.

Okay now, the first part is just lame. Food? Get real! --User:Angie Y.

I'm serious! I've watched the episode! He actually does possess food and attack the team with it! ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 21:47, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Xana's being very lame in his attacks then. --User:Angie Y.

Indeed he is. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 21:49, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Basically, XANA is turning into Jack Spicer. Angie Y. 21:55, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

FOOD? Good Lord, Food. Of all the things! I thought XANA could only possess sentient lifeforms and mechanical/computer systems! This has to be the worst plot twist since...ever! At least tell me it was some kind of reasonably freaky food. That could improve this situation by a modicum. Well, maybe this is a really sad intro to XANA possessing larger unsentient objects to attack people with. I.E. Eiffel Tower. As for the Jack Spicer allusion, I don't think that's quite on the mark. Jack's attacks are lame, but it goes along with his character. You see, if the character is lame, lame attacks are part of the deal. But for a character of XANA's callibur, he should be possessing like, a comet or something. Say he just bounces off Voyager 2 as it goes past Pluto and he possess the planet (yes, I still consider Pluto a planet) and tries to crash it into the Earth. If he can possess macaroni salad or whatever, he could probably possess a small planet.  Jeremie@theLab
But XANA wouldn't do that, because it would surely destroy all the computers on Earth and XANA still needs one to survive. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 10:23, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I can see your point, but there have been several plot discrepancies where XANA goes suicidal. Case and point: I think it was Cruel Dilemma where XANA possess two bulldozers to demolish the Factory, and hence, himself. Then, only a couple episodes later in Satellite, XANA will hit anything outside of the Factory, but won't hit the building itself because that would destroy him. And...maybe he could just possess Earth's satellite network, screwing up international communications and military operations. This could allow Iran or somebody to take advantage of the break in surveillance and fire a nuke at Israel or Western Europe. An indirect XANA attack. --Jeremie@theLab 11:48, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hmm. The bulldozers didn't actually destroy the supercomputer. Even if the factory fell down, well the supercomputer room is underground so it would probably survive anyway. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 12:06, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Scene idea for New and Improved edit

I came up with an adorable scene idea for New and Improved.

Samantha hides in her room. Jim asks his friend what's wrong and Sam, in a trembling voice, says that she is scared. Jim tells her not to be scared and wants her to come out of there. Sam says no. Jim tries again and the girl still says no. Jim, gently, scoops Sam up and cradles her. "See, Sam? There's nothing to be afraid of." Jim says gently. A flash of lightning and a boom of thunder scares the girl, who cries out in fright at the sound of the thunder. Jim rocks her to sleep and gently shushes her until she is asleep. Then Jim, careful so as to not awaken his friend, puts her in her bed as she dreams. (Brahms' Lullaby plays in the background during this rather adorable scene, alluding to the fact that Samantha is now asleep.)

--User:Angie Y.

Am I allowed to answer? It's adorable! Still, to me at least, it begs the question: How old is Samantha? -- Aelita@Lyoko 21:34, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

14. But any person, young or old, can get scared of a storm. Especially if the storm is a freakish one. --User:Angie Y.

Oh. Yeah, that makes sense. -- Aelita@Lyoko 23:41, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Sounds great! I like it, an I agree, adorable! Are you planning on having a music selection of Brahmes load up as the page is accessed? :-) --Jeremie@theLab 01:14, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Maybe. I came up with the idea after seeing a scene from the Pee-wee's Playhouse episode Rainy Day, where Pee-wee and Pterri do similar actions. Since Jim's being so nice, I figured this fits perfectly! Ya have any ideas yourself? --User:Angie Y.

I never watched Pee Wee's Playhouse, it sort of freaked me out. I did see the movie with his lost bike though. LOL! That movie was awesome! As for ideas...I'm listening to the industrial music soundtrack for the Resident Evil movies right now...you probably don't want to hear my spur-of-the-moment ideas unless you want to turn New and Improved down the dark road of viral disease outbreak and zombies trolling the Paris streets. I could probably write a whole separate fanfic on that. I'm basically waiting for the next chapter at this point!  Jeremie@theLab

What do you think of my idea? Jim obviously doesn't remember the whole "computer incident" involving Sam and Odd in Rock Bottom, so he's being very honey-sweet to her; very fatherly and loving. --User:Angie Y.

I think it's definitely worth putting in the fanfic, by all means! You've definitely put some thought into the scene so don't let that go to waste.  Jeremie@theLab

I even came up with some other ideas:

  • The gang makes steaming cups of hot cocoa.
  • Drawing pictures.
  • Taking naps in their (renovated) rooms.

--User:Angie Y.

Touching. That really adds a, shall we say, human edge to the gritty industrial story of XANA invasions and government conspiracies I had been pushing. Add them all, balance me out!  Jeremie@theLab

During the "taking naps" part, we see:

  • Odd sleeping and snoring as he usually does
  • Ulrich sleeping with his earplugs
  • Yumi sleeping next to Ulrich
  • Aelita sleeping like Sleeping Beauty in her new canopy bed
  • Jeremie dreaming of XANA's eventual defeat
  • Samantha still dreaming of William
  • Sissi is dreaming of marrying Odd

--User:Angie Y.

<lol> These are cute, too! I still wouldn't have thought that Sissi liked Odd - and I can't believe that they're going to kiss! -- Aelita@Lyoko 20:14, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
They're not going to kiss, well, not from love anyway. Sissi's just patronizing him in Right to the Heart. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 22:21, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Wha, really? That sounds more like Sissi than a kiss for love! -- Aelita@Lyoko 23:30, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yea. Whoever released that screenshot left a huge red herring; there's absolutely nothing between Sissi and Odd (thank god for that). ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 06:44, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Here's another scene idea:

The skyline of the city is shown as Odd, dressed in a superhero-type outfit reminiscent of Superman, flies onscreen. "I'm Super Odd!" he says.

He then hears the sound of Sissi calling for help. "A call for help!" he says. "Someone's in distress! This is a job for Super Odd!" Away he goes... to the college. The scrawny superhero lands there to see Sissi pinned under a barbell, wearing a sexy pink exercise dress. Curiously, her breasts bend the barbell into boob shapes right in the middle. She explains that she was doing her morning exercises, but she never realized how heavy the weights were. Not even Jim can lift them! She then asks Super Odd to fly around the world and get help. Odd laughs gloatingly and says that he doesn't need help! "But Odd, you don't understand, this is a 10,000-lb. barbell," Sissi protests. "You'll need 50 men to lift it. It's much too heavy for just one!" Odd says nothing is too heavy for him, as he has the strength of fifty men, if not more. He picks up the barbell like it was just a twig and tosses it aside. He then helps Sissi to her feet as she stands. She thanks him and preens her onyx hair. Odd then examines her with his felino-vision to make sure her bones aren't broken. Fortunately, they aren't. "Floral print, baby," he quips. "Oh, Odd, I don't know how to thank you," says Sissi. "Here, let me try." They then embrace each other. Odd is about to kiss her, and succeeds. She kisses him in return as Jim looks on at his friends, smiling warmly and blushing The audience then goes back to reality. "I don't wanna wake up..." he says sleepily, but seductively.

Odd looks around, saying that he must have fallen asleep. "Tell me about it," Jim says. "You were in it, Jimbo," Odd says. Sissi then leans in. "What about me, Odd dear?" she asks. Odd blushes "Uh... no, you weren't in it, Sissi, sorry," Odd says. "Aw c'mon, Odd! I was in it! I was kissing you." She says.

Everyone's stomachs begin growling. Odd then, formally, invites Sissi to join him for lunch, as they will be dining on meatballs and gravy today. "Why thank you...Super Odd." She says. Sissi walks off. Odd double-takes to the camera several times before joining her.

How's this for a dream? --User:Angie Y.

<ROFL> That really does sound like something Odd would dream about! (although I don't think it would be Sissi that he rescues in his dream) Plus, he really is "super odd"! He's my favorite character and I still think he's wacko! -- Aelita@Lyoko 19:55, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, didn't see the extended conversation until tonight! ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL! That is INGENIUS! Angie, you truly have a great mind for this stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing this integrated into the fanfiction. Speaking of that, any new chapters of anything out yet?  Jeremie@theLab

Resist much, obey little! edit

Don't forget to check out The Watchmen. - Resist much, obey little! 00:27, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes! Welcome to Wikipedia man. See you in school tomorrow, I guess I'll catch you outside the video production room as I head to Spanish. I'll get The Watchman. Ever since V for Vendetta I've developed an interest in Alan Moore. --Jeremie@theLab 01:52, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Are you planning on getting yourself a cool userpage? Well, come on over to my talkpage whenever you feel like chatting - I'm trying to get to 26 conversations and I'm only at 14, and having too many people come to talk isn't a high priority concern for me! -- Aelita@Lyoko 20:01, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Correction and Clarification. The correct title is Watchmen and it is a popular graphic novel. I've heard talks of it being made into a movie but Alan Moore is against Hollywood so we'll see if it ever actually hits theaters. -- Resist much, obey little! 23:08, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Where is my user name from? -- Resist much, obey little! 23:10, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not a clue. It looks like something out of a manga series. I hope that's not your actual philosophy about life. -- Aelita@Lyoko 23:25, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'm going to guess its from Watchmen...either that or you made it up. But I'll put my money on Watchmen. I bet it would make an awesome movie. And, no kidding Alan Moore is against Hollywood. Did you hear his reaction to V for Vendetta? He said he would purposely separate himself from it and not seeing it would make him happy because he thought it would suck. You can probably find out more on either the Alan Moore or V for Vendetta (film) articles. --Jeremie@theLab 01:36, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Worried about New and Improved edit

I'm worried about New and Improved. Should Jedi General and I continue it even though Seasons 3 and 4 are gonna begin? Angie Y. 23:21, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't see why you should be concerned. If anything, with the coming of the next seasons fans should be clammoring for anything Code Lyoko related. I say you and JG should keep on going with this, after all, I seem to recall that you have several conversations above this relating to New and Improved, chock full of ideas. Those, coupled with the huge arcs I've given to you, should give this fanfic enough gas to outlast Season 3. I say you two should keep going. Btw, about Jim's improved personality, I really like it. He's acting a lot like he did in Code: EARTH and False Start, angelic. --Jeremie@theLab 01:16, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can you help us with some ideas? For one, Odd asked Sissi out on a date to go to a Subsonics concert. We need help with designing a dress. We already have a template for it - Miss Yvonne's pink dresses from Pee-wee's Playhouse.

  • The dress is purple, and I was thinking that it should have a corset built in and no straps.
  • Sissi's hair is styled the same style as her hairstyle to the prom in "Teddygozilla".

Here.

  • The dress will be described by Jim as a "flashy" outfit. Angie Y. 01:34, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

No corsets, for starters. If you saw Pirates of the Caribbean you would know why. Other than that, I can see this coming to light. For the purple dress, put some...pink trim around the collar and sleeves. If we're talking "flashy" it will be a miniskirt dress, I suppose. --Jeremie@theLab 01:36, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah. Those petticoat-dresses of Yvonne's make her look like someone from the fifties. Angie Y. 01:37, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'll take your word for it...I've never seen Pee Wee's Playhouse! :} --Jeremie@theLab 01:39, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

When the two come home from the concert, they are very sleepy. Angie Y. 01:42, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

And does this drowsy state lead up to some big event? --Jeremie@theLab 01:44, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah. Sleeping. They're prepared for bedtime. :) Angie Y. 01:46, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Plus, we'll need help with the songs that the Subsonics will play. Angie Y. 03:02, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

There is one song (played on the Season 2 end credits) known as the Subsonics Song. It has no other real title, but that is the only one I know of. Let me think of some more. --Jeremie@theLab 13:25, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Say, are they just made up for the show, or are they an actual band? ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 14:11, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think they are made up for the series proper. --User:Angie Y.

The Subsonics are fake, I believe, but real bands have been mentioned. Aelita has made a reference to the Rolling Stones in False Start. --Jeremie@theLab 10:21, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm just so worried that the new season will trash Jim and Sissi's personalities and make them be bad again. Angie Y. 12:51, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't be worried about that. Season 3 needs some human quasi-antagonists. Jim and Sissi play those roles with great efficiency. My opinion is they should stay as-is, but a slight personality touch up would be good for Jim.  Jeremie@theLab

Check out my user page. It's looking quite bland. Have you got any tips. I'm trying to find some good users boxes and other things of that nature. -- Resist much, obey little! 23:35, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, the explanation for your username and your quotes are great (Malcom X, YEAH MAN!). But the rest is just a giant list of movies. Respectable and acceptable. You shouldn't delete your movie list, since it must have taken an hour just to put all that in with ratings included. As for userboxes, I can help with that. Looking for Something New edit

Hey, have you read, seen, or heard anything good lately? You should check out this book World War Z. It's about an apocalyptic world infested with zombies. I haven't read it but i really want to. Also, listen to the bands The Black Keys and TV on the Radio. You won't be disappointed. -- Resist much, obey little! 02:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Eh, I'm listening to Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day on my laptop right now. That's a REALLY good song, a 5-part rock opera in fact. I heard that they are going to make a movie out of American Idiot(album), which should be good. Um, in English class we're reading Grendel right now, which is basically Beowulf from Grendel's viewpoint. It is horribly depressing and funny at the same time. On the second page, Grendel talks about rams having sex with stumps and then he flips off the sky. I really like it. I also picked up this book of African American poetry from the Library for the heck of it. There's pretty good stuff in there, such as the first poem which describes (in great bloody detail) the massacre of a bunch of slaves by some Native Americans, or the tragedy of a slave auction, or sends up pleas to God to end racism. Good stuff. I've never heard of that book before. It sounds like it is beating the dead horse of the theme of apocalyptic zombie invasions (Resident Evil, Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, etc.), but maybe it will be original. Never heard of those bands before...let me do a serch. --Jeremie@theLab 02:38, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
The thing about World War Z that makes it an original is that it is an actual oral history of this imaginary zombie war. The events of the war are retold by those who lived it. I also thought of this great book i read a while back called. White Noise by Don Delillo its really a classic. Grendel sounds bizarrely good. I like Jesus of Suburbia too. I'm not a big Green Day fan but that song has such an operatic tone and great political vibe to it. And that African American poetry doesn't sound too bad either.
I've got to write an essay for English on any book that we read for summer so I'm going to write about the troubled childhood theme in The Once and Future King. And for my term paper in History I'm writing about Rebellion in Early America. -- Resist much, obey little! 02:55, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
In my English class we have to write a poem in the Anglo-Saxon style of Beowulf. The biggest thing about this is to "play" with the words and have fun, according to the teacher. You need alliteration, diction and kennings (hyphenated words, ex, whale-road). It was actually really fun! I just wrote about an imaginary slaughter that I committed while playing Halo over Labor Day Weekend. For my American History term paper, I'm going after Mormons for my topic. I've already got about three primary sources (Bible, Book of Mormon and a book by the Head-Honcho Mormon), with a fourth one in the law telling Utah they had to give up polygamy to enter the Union. My thesis at this point is that Mormons should not be considered Christians because of the differences in their faith practices, but that will probably change. Then for Modern History (a class for Seniors which I just took for fun, I'm the only Upper there!) I guess I'm going to do my term paper on the Space Race. Right now in that class we are in the computer lab doing some Cuban Missile Crisis stuff. As for those books, oral histories are great and that is original, and wasn't White Noise made into a film? Hey, I read about Watchman last night. Holy crap! That looks awesome. I hope they make a movie! --Jeremie@theLab 11:33, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
White Noise the movie is a totally different story. This book is about media saturation and how things of that nature have taken over American culture. Its not about ghosts in TV's. That poem sounds good. Interesting topic with the Mormons. I went to the library yesterday and got six books on the early colonies. That Modern history class sounds fun. I hope they make a Watchmen movie too. And if they don't, I will! -- Resist much, obey little! 14:57, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

HELP!! edit

After S4 comes to an end, CL may be cancelled for good! Angie Y. 04:26, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Does it matter? Everything comes to an end eventually. Besides, S4 is WAY off airing. ~iNVERTED | Rob (Talk | Contribs) 10:20, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, besides, pray that we actually get to Season 4. If XANA unleashes more plots like food possessions, the show might prematurely end! --Jeremie@theLab 11:31, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't want it to end! Both sides have not come to a decisive victory! Angie Y. 16:26, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Angie Y, if Code Lyoko does give up after Season 4 (and it might; S4 is predicted to be long) and you're desperate for more stuff along the same lines, you can always help my Xanadu thing along with ideas. It will go on for at least seven arcs, six of which I've figured out the basic plot for! There might even be more than seven arcs, if I can't get Arc 7 to close properly. This could really be big. BTW, I checked out the image you put in from Teddygozilla. Why doesn't Sissi style her hair like that more often? It's so cute!!!   Jeremie@theLab, as long as I'm talking about Xanadu, any new brainstorms? -- Aelita@Lyoko 22:00, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree! Plus, Christine Flowers did a horrible job voicing Sissi! Jodi Forrest does much better. --User:Angie Y.

There were two different voice actresses? It's been a while since I read the trivia for Sissi's page. I wonder who added the screenshot thing to the list of Code Lyoko episodes; I think it's a great idea! the picture of Sissi is a very pretty shot, but I think that the screenshots that go with the episodes should be chosen based on the title. For instance, episodes with titles that practically tell you what the attack is should have screenshots of those attacks, while episodes that describe something else represented in the episode would have that as the screenshot (like Log Book would have Ulrich's diary, Mr. Pück would have Aelita's doll, that kind of thing). Or would that be redundant? -- Aelita@Lyoko 02:17, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
That would be just a tad redundant. LyokoFreak has a gallery, albeit and incomplete one, of screenshots. Those could be used for the episodes LF actually covers with shots.  Jeremie@theLab
OK, but why Sissi? Sure, that's a cute hairstyle, but she's an antagonist in the first season. Couldn't the screenshot for the first episode introduce the good guys and then later episodes have pictures of the bad guys? -- Aelita@Lyoko 20:08, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I suppose, but I'm not the resident image uploader. I just write. There is a good screencap of Ulrich, Odd and Yumi in one shot that looks pretty good, I think we could get that one...but I don't know who uploads our images.  Jeremie@theLab

ATTN: Jeremie@theLab edit

Dear Angie, this is KFan II. I wish to reconcile. I now realize that as Season 3 draws near, we need some writers to write down the happenings of the upcoming episodes. I am sorry I kicked you off. I suppose your thoughts about me were true, and I have decided I will be less dictatorial on Code: WIKI. If you agree to join Code: WIKI again, I will unblock you and make you Guardian again. Please accept this compromise. Sincerely, KFan II

KFan just wrote this to me. Angie Y. 23:41, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

So, you think he's serious? I'd say follow your heart on this one. Need advice?  Jeremie@theLab

Yeah. Angie Y. 14:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm not really joining this discussion except to say that KFan hasn't said a word to me since I joined Wikipedia. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I hesitate to leave him any messages because he might ask me to join Code: WIKI and I'm not sure I can. -- Aelita@Lyoko 20:44, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I feel so worried now, Jeremie. Angie Y. 13:24, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not because of what I said, I hope. -- Aelita@Lyoko 20:09, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
All right, sorry for the three-day absence people. I blame life. First I have a monster American History test, then my homework piles up, then my parents take the network offline for one day. But, I'm back and ready to roll. So, priority one: Angie, I've given this some thought...don't do it. You seem happier now that your free of CW rules, at least that is what I perceive. Aelita, it's probably not either a good thing or a bad thing. KFan is what I would call an idealist, and besides, have you seen the talk pages on Code WIKI and the vandalism levels? Enough to make me think twice. I don't want to defame CW at all, and it does have some good resources, but I'm staying here.  Jeremie@theLab
Like I said, I'm not sure I can get to Code: WIKI. I've never been there, so I haven't seen the talkpages or the vandalism levels. Still, I'd just as soon stay here too; there aren't very many mudfests that I've seen, and the messages left on my page are really friendly. I'm actually looking forward to the day I have to archive! -- Aelita@Lyoko 22:44, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

False Lead edit

Jim will become an enemy in "False Lead". NOOOOO!! Angie Y. 21:42, 30 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

How?  Jeremie@theLab
These two secret agents recruit Jim as an informant after they mistakenly believe Jeremie and the others are terrorists! How did they end up with a storyline that parallel to New and Improved? Wow...at least that episode is an upshot from XANA attacking the group with food.  Jeremie@theLab
What should we do? We can't discontinue the story so early; we will never do that! Angie Y. 00:34, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

We plan on showing it to David Gasman, the guy that does the voice of Jim (as well and William, Herb, Xana, and that hunky Theo Gauthier). I had once showed a story of my creation to him called Code Lyoko - The Future is Now, which had Jim and Sissi as team members like in New and Improved. He liked it, and even suggested some very cool ideas for it! =D Angie Y. 15:02, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well yes, but then again I don't know many people who are doing an extra credit assignment for English class on logical fallacies...which I'm assuming there are a lot of. I probably am not going to bake a critique of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, since I'm pretty sure everyone else has already taken my recipe idea (pouring a bit of everything from my spice cabinet into a bowl of flour, eggs, sugar, milk and butter and microwaving it for half an hour). I'm listening to Green Day right now, which must fill you with pain because you hate them! *laughs maniacally* I only like four of their songs anyway. How are you researching logical fallacies anyway? Is there some book, or...Wikipedia. Duh!  Jeremie@theLab
gasp! you know who i am! i'm using a combination of wikipedia, other resources and the nfa library. dont forget yeast or baking powder. or baking soda. it MUST BAKE! i might do both this and some other extra credit he tells me to do. i dont really think the extra credit will matter though. davey told me it will make him like you. which is the only way to get an a, but you can make him like you in other ways too. oh well. Prequel...Part 2! edit

I'll kill myself! I confused the dates and I thought today was October 2, I missed Part 1! But the recap filled me in, and PART 2 WAS BEYOND BELIEF AND INDESCRIBABLE! THAT WAS SO AWESOME! Perfect in every detail, couldn't find a flaw! Could you believe how they made Sissi public enemy number one? That was amazing! To think...she was going to be the gang's ally at first but was usurped by Yumi! It was amazing how the adults almost figured out about Lyoko, and the virtualized fight scenes! I am luxuriating in Season 3. Now, I must have been seeing things, but I think I saw the Eiffel Tower in one of the background shots of the city (when Ulrich and Yumi were in the Factory entryway). I was sure of it then, but in hindsight it was probably some radio corporation's tower with an antenna on top. BRING ON THE REST OF SEASON 3!

P.S. I couldn't do recaps for the Prequel, but I can probably do them for the next episodes. I'll keep a notepad handy to take down scenes, summaries and quotes. --Jeremie@theLab 21:07, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure that the Part 2 recap is finished; it looked a little incomplete to me. Both parts need quotes, I think. I'd have loved to see the first part. Do you know, I'd actually predicted that Odd had moved in? I was thrilled to see that I was right! Did all of the characters look the same as they did in the rest of CL? Besides Odd's hair, I mean. <lol> Now I'm sure that Odd used to belong to a gang or something before he moved. It would explain his streetfighting skills! I hope that they hurry and put it on DVD! Wouldn't it be cool if, when XANA Unleashed is released on DVD, they combined the two parts and made it the first Code Lyoko movie? --Aelita@Lyoko 22:47, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, someone finished the recap. I still can't believe that Odd didn't like being a cat, especially since he's so cute that way! --Aelita@Lyoko 21:03, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, well today's episode, Straight to Heart, blew everything preceding it out of the water. Aelita has a new power and gets devirtualized for the first time! Plus the awesome virtual fights scenes. --Jeremie@theLab 01:25, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
That good? Wow - bummer I don't have cable, or I could see what all the excitement is about! One episode that I hope I'm lucky enough to be in the same room as a Cable TV for is Three is an Odd Number because I'm positive that the plot is focused on that wildcard! Temporary Insanity is another one that sounds like fun. <lol> When is that boy getting a girlfriend? He needs one; I don't blame those girls for falling for him in the first two seasons. Btw, just off topic: If I can finish all my homework before Friday comes to an end, Mom will take off my internet restrictions for the weekend! =D Under normal circumstances, I could probably make it easily if I stayed focused, but I've fallen behind so on top of everything else I have make-up work. Well, I got into it, I have to get out of it; but keep me in your prayers, OK? --Aelita@Lyoko 02:51, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
I most definitely will. And the Forest Sector exists no more! It's gone forever, no exceptions, we'll have to deal with that. And look over there! That moss must have been caused by pollution! (Minor joke in the episode "Lyoko Minus One") --Jeremie@theLab 21:04, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
OK, unless you tell me that the "gone forever" comment was actually out of a reliable source, I'd rather believe that either Jeremie or Aelita will figure out how to bring the Forest Sector back in one of the next two seasons. As for the moss thing...have you already seen Lyoko Minus One? If so, please explain the joke because it makes no sense. -- Aelita@Lyoko 23:34, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
<lol> Never mind, I just read the recap. Who's Yumi kidding? Wouldn't that make this the second time that Aelita's been possessed, or doesn't the necklace thing from Saint Valentine's Day count? Btw, are there going to be any quotes for these episodes? One more thing: you haven't sent me any messages with ideas for the Xanadu Arc 1. Has life been so hectic that you couldn't focus on anything else? If so, I sympathize. --Aelita@Lyoko 02:41, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

ATTN:Jeremie@theLab edit

Just a little thing - there are quotes at the end of Straight to Heart that I'm pretty sure are supposed to be from Lyoko Minus One. Are they? --Aelita@Lyoko 03:22, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, those were definitely from the second episode. I'll move those right now. --Jeremie@theLab 14:45, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

S3 Ep. Recap for "Tidal Wave" edit

The episode recap for Tidal Wave is missing. Angie Y. 01:39, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, it's up now. I'll start editing it for links, detail, etc. --Jeremie@theLab 14:46, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
