Hello Arum

Hello! My name is Alyssa Cheadle. This semester, I will be available to provide help in understanding how to get work done in Wikipedia.

I am a graduate student in Psychology at UCLA. Last semester, I edited Wikipedia articles as part of a course in Social Psychology. I worked on the article "Just World Hypothesis," and I was able to nominate my article for a Wikipedia "Did You Know" feature. I found the assignment effective in helping me learn about my topic, the culture and norms of Wikipedia, and writing articles from a neutral point of view for a lay audience. I learned some valuable lessons while completing my assignment and I will be glad to offer advice to you!

Please contact me with questions; I prefer to be contacted via email.

Good luck!

Alyssa

Good Job, Arum!
LEAD SECTION:Your lead section is a stand-alone concise summary of the article.
LANGUAGE:You have avoided using field-specific jargon and explained them when necessary
LINKS:You have missed links to other Wikipedia articles in some cases, for example: Gordon Gallup, chimpanzee, etc.
NEUTRALITY:Your contribution maintains a neutral point of view and consists of verifiable statements, and it avoids becoming original research/opinion.
CITATION:You have cited facts from reputable, accessible, and up-to-date sources.
WRITING:Your writing uses correct grammar, verb tenses, and spelling.
CATEGORY:It is useful to try to categorize the page. It will help others to find the article more easily.
REFERENCES:You have formatted the references properly.

I noticed that you have not yet made your edits public; if you are having trouble with this, please contact me. Your article would be a good candidate for the Wikipedia \"Did You Know\" feature when it goes live.

Good work!

Hi Arum,

If the topic already has a wikipedia page, it is best to edit that page by reorganizing and adding additional information, not by deleting and starting over. If you decide that you have the time, that it is worth doing, and that your work would provide significant changes to the existing page, let me know and I can give you more detailed guidance!
