Awfj.org

edit
You will find 226,000 pages (at least that's the number that's currently on the screen) referring to the Alliance of Women Film Journalists from sources as diverse as Movie City News, the Hollywood Reporter, Variety, USA Today, Salon.com, Cinematical.com, About.com, indiewire.com and hundreds more--all highly regarded, highly credible sources.

The problem is, the article did not refer to any of them. Unless the website has received substantial coverage from any of those sites, it is not deemed a notable website. That's why the article was deleted. I probably wouldn't have deleted an article on AWFJ itself, but the article on the website—which gave the website minimal discussion in the text of the article—failed notability. —C.Fred (talk) 19:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article on the website was speedy deleted because it did not demonstrate the website was notable. This does nothing to prevent the creation of a better article about the site and does nothing whatsoever about any possible article on Alliance of Women Film Journalists. —C.Fred (talk) 20:26, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
