Jenny,

Good morning, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for writing to me. The notability (inclusion) criteria are not really as strict as they could be, but people tend to look more carefully at articles about companies and nonprofits if they're edited and created by people associated with the organisation.

I've had a look at the article again. I think that the appropriate category for Thoughtcast is WP:WEB; fortunately, WP:WEB states if the content is distributed via a site which is both well known and independent of the creators, either through an online newspaper or magazine, an online publisher, or an online broadcaster, then the content meets notability criteria. If Thoughtcast's interviews have been broadcast on WGBH, then I fancy you're OK, especially if you can find a cached version of a schedule that states that, and post the link on the discussion tab of the article.

About the wikify template, I suggest you have a look at, for example, the articles for other podcasts, like Skepticality and The Sound of Young America. It's basically a matter of appearance; things should look standardised across articles.

Thanks, and keep editing!

Hi. I notice that you've inserted a large number of links to your radio show into peripherally related articles like Tufts University and Intellectual. Please, before adding these links, consider what's not linked from those articles, and why. Imagine how big they'd be if every book and article and radio show that mentioned the article subject was linked. Wikipedia isn't a web portal; adding links like this is frowned upon, especially when it appears to be self-promotion. Please go through your edits and undo those which aren't more closely related to the subject than the vast majority of other works out there, and please don't add such links in the future. Thanks. -- BenRG 21:38, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
