ID request
editHello JelleD,
I've uploaded these two files (1 and 2) which I've IDed as a Andrena cineraria.
Yesterday User:Gidip has marked my pics as a wrong ID. Because I wasn't so sure with my IDing I've started another request on a german entomologie forum nearly at the same time. There it was written that the bee could be a Melecta luctuosa. After asking Gidip if he could help me identyfing these two bees of mine he say that you may be the right adress for a help. The pics was taken in Germany, Brandenburg, Potsdam Mittelmark in the early morning on a field (I've also added a geocode template on the picture site). So I hope you can help me and thanks a lot!

Melecta luctuosa
editBoth photos show indeed a sleeping cuckoo bee of the genus Melecta. The pale white hairs on the thorax, legs, head and the location indicate that it should indeed be the species Melecta luctuosa.
- Hi JelleD, thank you very much for your fast answer! You've helped me very much! So thank's again and Best regards Leviathan1983 (talk) 10:33, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
