You appear to be using Wikipedia articles, such as Bodyguard, Security guard, and Bouncer (doorman), in order to promote a specific business. Promotion is not what Wikipedia is for; would you please stop? -FisherQueen (Talk) 03:41, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bodyguard. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. -FisherQueen (Talk) 03:44, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Bodyguard, you will be blocked from editing. -FisherQueen (Talk) 03:48, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for advertising, as you did with Bodyguard, you will be blocked from editing. -FisherQueen (Talk) 03:53, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've blocked this account for 48 hours to prevent any more self-promotion in articles. I looked at your edits. While some of them were directed at getting attention for David Lewis (is that you?) and the company, others demonstrated clear specialist knowledge about the fields in question. I'd be willing to unblock you, provided you agree to look at WP:COI and dialog with FisherQueen about this self-promotion issue. What do you say?--Chaser - T 04:41, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of David L. Lewis edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on David L. Lewis, by FisherQueen (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because David L. Lewis seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting David L. Lewis, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate David L. Lewis itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 04:23, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
