Hi there,

I have declined the AfC request for the article aids2031 because much of the text is copied from AIDS: Taking a long-term view. You have performed minor rewording in some sentences, but other paragraphs are copied entirely. For example:

Your article:

AIDS: Taking a long-term view (p9-10):

The consortium’s mandate was to question conventional wisdom, stimulate new research, spark public debate, and examine social and political trends regarding AIDS. Initiated by UNAIDS in 2007, aids2031 has convened nine working groups that focused on modeling, social drivers, programmatic response, leadership, financing, science and technology, communications, hyperendemic countries, and countries in rapid economic transition. The consortium’s charge was to bring new thinking to address the dilemma of a pandemic that is still growing despite great investments and efforts at control. Its focus has been to look at what should be done differently now to radically reduce the numbers of infections and deaths by 2031, the year that will mark 50 years since AIDS was first reported.

I have removed this paragraph per WP:COPYVIO and the rest of the article appears to have been created using the same method. To work from a sources is good, but you must write in your own words, occasionally "quoting" the source article if you require. The report you copied from is © 2011 by Pearson Education, Inc.; it will require substantial rewriting to be accepted Jebus989 15:39, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
