Re:Hello edit

Though it is somewhat against the rule of Wikipedia, it has been widely accepted that adding a link to the lank page doesn't harm much. You can see the tutorial at WP:SIGN. If u don't understand don't hesitate to post me back. Amartyabag TALK2ME 09:45, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re:Hello edit

Hi,

It is difficult to find time in office. To make matters worse, our company policy discourages us to use social media like blogs, wikis, etc. Looks like you still manage to find some time. — Ambuj Saxena (talk) 11:23, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Haan, u can say that way. Managing my time in a great way. --Jayanta (Talk) 12:12, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nadia town pages edit

Sorry for the delay in replying to your mail. As a retired person, I get some time to spend on Wikipedia. Improving the West Bengal town pages has been one of my interests. Recently I have been working on the Nadia district towns. Now, I am an outsider to the district and I do not have any deep personal knowledge of the area. Therefore, it is possible that I may commit mistakes. Whenever you find time, please check the Nadia town pages. I have used some data from this site. I have usedthis map. Now there is a new subdivision - Tehatta. Also, I would like to pass on a message I have received from Ragib - "I noticed that you are increasing the Bangla script size by adding the big tag. This is not necessary. The Bangla text appears correctly in all browsers (unless you have only the vrinda font installed and no other Bangla fonts)". I think the message is self explanatory. I quote it here because you also add Bengali script to some pages. With regards - P.K.Niyogi 02:37, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have spent a major part of my life in Asansol and Durgapur. Therefore, I have personal familiarisation with Bardhaman, Birbhum, Bankura and Purulia. I am also familiar with Hooghly where my mamar bari is located. Now I live in Kolkata. I am going for a visit to Bangladesh immediately after Puja and will be off Wikipedia for about a fortnight. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Khiladiyon ka khiladi.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Khiladiyon ka khiladi.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:42, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
