Since the page is essentially about the University, I'm going to take the liberty of merging the content into the article on Bradley University. The old page will become a redirect. Dr. Peter Johnsen redirecting? edit

I was wondering why my groups page Dr. Peter Johnsen keeps getting redirected to Bradley University? Yes he's the provost of Bradley University but theirs many other Provost pages that aren't redirected to their specific University? This is for a Class group project and we were assigned him. This is the 3rd time we have had to start over. Please explain why his is being redirected but the other Provost pages are not. --Jasonpia911 Jasonpia911 01:01, 22 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'd suggest you read WP:INCL. Wikipedia can be inconsistent in application of our standards b/c of its open nature. Anyone can create a page about anything. If you point me to those other pages, I might merge them, as well. I'm sympathetic to your desire to create a page for a class project. Tell you what, I created a subpage with the various versions of this page I've found at User:Jasonpia911/Peter Johnsen. It's in your userspace, so no one will bug it there. Let me know if you need to move it into the mainspace (where the articles go) for your project. That would probably be more likely if you can somehow justify this person's notability in reference to WP:BIO, the relevant guideline. Even then people may want to merge it into the article (and I hardly blame them).--Kchase02 T 04:29, 22 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dr. Peter Johnsen again edit

HI there again, can you please check out my user space page again and see if my Dr. Johnsen page is suitable for release now instead of being re-routed to Bradley University? - Jasonpia911Jasonpia911 06:46, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's at Peter Johnsen. No promises that someone else won't try to merge it, but I'll leave it alone.--Kchase02 T 06:52, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
