Judging from the similarity between your user name and the name on DailyVault.com, I'm guessing that you are the owner of that site. I want to remind you that Wikipedia editors are expressly prohibited from linking to their own sites because of conflicts of interest (see WP:EL and WP:COI); so if you are the owner of DailyVault.com, I'm asking you to please remove the links you've made to your site. Thanks for the message. I understand your point, but the guidelines for external links are pretty clear (see Wikipedia:External links).
The major concern with your links is that they represent a conflict of interest (see Wikipedia:External links#Advertising and conflicts of interest). Wikipedia does not wish to be involved with driving any viewers to your site, which would undoubtedly contribute to your income.
The second thing I'd like to point out is that a link is required to be symmetrically related to the subject of the article. It's clear that your review is related to a specific artist, but there's no evidence that the artist has a similar relationship with (dependency on) your website.
One thing I can suggest: if you feel strongly about a link from a particular Wikipedia article, please bring it up on the article's talk page. If there's a consensus that your link should be included, someone else can do so. That avoids the conflict of interest problem.
I read several of your reviews, and I found them both well written and well thought out. I wish you luck with your website, but I just don't think that links from Wikipedia are appropriate. --JFreeman (talk) 03:42, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
