Speedy Deletes

edit

Wikipedia has fairly clear cut reasons for when things can be "speedily" deleted rather than going through the articles for deletion process. You can check them out at Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. I hope you'll contribute some encyclopedic articles. You might check out the welcome page to get some ideas. Petition

edit

If you don't want your articles to be deleted, please review our guidelines for the kinds of articles we are looking for - our guide to your first article is a good starting place. As pointed out above, certain kinds of articles can be deleted on sight. If you disagree with the deletion of an article, you can bring it up at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Starting a "petition" article is not going to get you anywhere - if you really want to discuss the whole idea of speedy deletion, bring it up at the Wikipedia:Village pump (policy) where other editors who are interested in such discussions will see it.
