You edited User:Bytesmiths' page, not User:Jan Steinman's page. I would recommend editing User:Bytesmiths' page logged in as User:Bytesmiths. There is quite a bit of vandalism of other's user pages including spam. Be cautious with using multiple accounts: wp:multiple accounts. You should disclose this on your user pages.
