Fort Ancient

edit

If you are the James Murphy ( which I assume you are but this being the internet, lol) welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your clarifications on a few articles so far. Last spring I tried to whip some of the Fort Ancient culture articles into some better shape than they had previously been. I ran into a few confusing things that maybe you could help clear up. If you go here Fort Ancient#Chronology you will see a table with phases and dates. I think this could be seriously expanded, as I think these phases only correspond to a small geographic area of Ohio and other phases are used for parts of KY and WVA. Am I correct in assuming this and could you help fill me in on them? You seem to be a very new editor, so doing the tables might seem a bit much (it took me awhile to get the hang of coding them here and at times it still takes a while for the more complicated ones). Any help you could offer in this area would be much appreciated. Also, the various literature I've found on the "foci" or "focuses" in Fort Ancient have been a littel vague and at times contradictory. Could you help in this area? Anyway, hope you enjoy editing here, Cheers, Heiro 18:36, 5 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
