Talk pages

I've noticed that you keep leaving remarks about the edits that you made to a particular page on the talk page. You really don't need to do that all the time, that's what the edit summary is for. If you think the edit might be disputed it's ok to say what you did and why you did it on the talk page and ask other editors to discuss it or dispute it, but if you've just added say a category to the page you don't need to say that on the talk page. Fair use rationale for Image:Darkprincecover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Darkprincecover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

Dollanger Series

I noticed you re-started the article on the Dollanger Series. When I checked the main Virginia C. Andrews article I can see why you did as there was nothing about her books! Unfortunately this was because the page had been seriously vandalised - removing about 75% of its contents. I have now reverted this vandalism and as you'll see it has quite a lot of information about all of her series of novels. With support from other editors I did a big rationalisation of all Virginia Andrews related articles a little while ago. This was to make them easier to navigate and ensure that information is not unnecessarily duplicated. Once you've had a chance to look at the restored main article I'd like to ask if you'd consider reverting Dollanger Series to a redirect.Madmedea 22:49, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
