Elizabeth colwell

Hi there, I have Elizabeth's death certificate and corrected her death date, and now it's back to the wrong date. I have also emailed the various museums for corrections as well. I can send a copy if needed. 2600:100C:B006:1872:A4EF:558E:E299:FACF (talk) 19:13, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

Sorry it doesn't work that way. Original research isn't allowed for what should be obvious reasons. Jackfork (talk) 19:27, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

Floor Slip resistance teststing

I provided a reference namely British Standard EN 16165 in which the Informative Annex goes into more detail of what I summarised and you removed

Please see WP:CS for the correct way to cite an edit. Jackfork (talk) 15:43, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

I am sorry but the template for citing references does not include Standards and I am at a loss as to how to deal with this. Could I ask you to please add it as appropriate. The reference is... British Standard BS EN 16165 "Determination of slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces - Methods of evaluation" - October 2021 Informative Annex. Many thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slipping-expert (talkcontribs) 17:29, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

Do you have a web page that has the information of the standard; as it pertains to your edit? Jackfork (talk) 18:30, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

No - unfortunately British Standards do not put the contents of their standards on the web. The existence of the standard can be verified on the BSI website, similarly the existence of the European standard EN 16165. However it is the UK Informative Annex, which only appears in the British edition which is critical in this matter. I can send you a copy of the document if that would help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slipping-expert (talkcontribs) 18:48, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

You have a couple of options. Take your edit to the article's talk page and see if anyone has an opinion or could help you with the citation. If no one has anything to say go ahead and repost in a couple of weeks. A second and perhaps better option would be to use the ISO standard template as a guide for the citation. Before reposting you will want to proofread your edit as well. One more thing when you post on someones talk page you should sign your edit. All you have to do is click to the right where it says to sign your posts just below the edit window, or your can type in 4 tildes. Jackfork (talk) 22:23, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
