Edit to The Weeknd

edit

Thank you for your addition to The Weeknd. Unfortunately, biographical articles, in this case Musicians articles, are not the appropriate place to add a collection of summaries on music videos. Such information should not be placed indiscriminately in as a subsection to a musician's career, as it inhibits the flow of the article, breaks out of topic, and breaches the formal tone of a BLP article. Instead, this kind of information may belong in an article dealing with the work/the song's music video. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. After looking through a guideline, it would be recommended to merge song information (music video descriptions are normally included in WP:SONG articles) to the associated album article, as said in MOS:ALBUM. This would tie in with any promotional efforts made for the respective albums, which are usually described in album articles. This would be in the same vein as your recent addition to Camp (album). Each song/music video you added seemed to be from one of the Weeknd's releases, so maybe adding each paragraph there: House of Balloons, or Thursday (mixtape), or Trilogy (The Weeknd album). Dan56 (talk) 04:57, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Like this at House of Balloons. Dan56 (talk) 05:00, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
