Speedy deletion nomination of Dave Ryon

A tag has been placed on Dave Ryon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. See WP:POLITICIAN. Being a candidate for office is not, of itself, notable. I have nominated the article for deletion because no other notability is demonstrated. The refs are all in relation to the candidature, and are anyway trivial and passing references. I42 (talk) 21:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
