Image question

edit

Regarding your question at the help desk, what image were you trying to add to that new article you just wrote?--Kchase T 22:32, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi KF and thanks for your help. I am trying to post an image that i have on my computer. It was probably not a bright idea to call it figure 1... Anyway, I don't even understand how I put this other picture on the page. Thank you :-) JD 13:31, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Your wikipedia user logs don't indicated you've tried to upload anything yet. Click this link: Special:Upload and upload what you want. You can retitle it as you upload, so title it something distinctive (like Chemical Imaging), fill out the appropriate description and licensing information and simply change the image name at Chemical Imaging. That should do it. Really, if you get it uploaded, I can handle the rest.--Kchase T 17:31, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Perfect!!! :-) thank you very much for your help! JD 18:12, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Licensing issues

edit

FYI: You've now got licenseing issues at Image:Chemical_imaging_schematic.jpg. Not sure what can be done about that. Licensing is not my forte. Don't worry too much about it being "speedy deletion" as that has been inordinately slow of late.--Kchase T 19:41, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

A number of people have contacted me (people I asked to have a look at the page) about making changes in the document. Can I delete the page completely and resubmit when it is better? Thanks

If you want, just tag it with {{db-author}}. I left the helpme tag in case you wanted help with licensing issues.--Kchase T 19:52, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Do I put this tag before the beginning of the text or at the end? I really am going to need to spend some time learning before I post again :-( D2933 21:12, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I did it... Thanks again!

I removed that help template, since it doesn't seem to be relevant anymore. Feel free to leave a message here if you need assistance with something. I'll keep your talk page watched.--Kchase T 21:20, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
