Please refrain from changing genres without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 17:10, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Delta Machine, you may be blocked from editing. snαp snαp (talk) 17:56, 25 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Genre and Citing sources edit

Hi J.A.F! Thanks for asking, I'm happy to help. There is nothing technically incorrect about your addition, and I agree that it's an appropriate one to describe that album in question. However, on Wikipedia we require sources for information, especially subjective ideas on genres. Otherwise, genres just get added back and forth between users who feel that an album should or should fall into a certain genre. It's a tricky process and I don't always even agree on a genre that is sourced, but we have to keep up with the reception was from sources we can find. To learn more about citing sources, I suggest reading Wikipedia:Citing sources and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. I wish you good luck with finding sources! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask! :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:59, 26 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

January 2016 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genre in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at The Fall (Gorillaz album). Robvanvee 19:17, 9 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hey, another thing. Please note that only the first genre in infoboxes should be capitalized, since genres are not considered proper nouns on Wikipedia. Kokoro20 (talk) 17:41, 31 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for January 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rocket Juice & the Moon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Supergroup. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Image of electronic band Moderat.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Image of electronic band Moderat.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
