Korcan Çelikay edit

The article was deleted because he has not played in a fully professional league - the TFF Third League is not fully professional. If he makes a first team appearance for Besiktas or any other team in the Super Lig, then let me know and I'll restore the article. Until then, he fails the WP:ATHLETE guideline. Hope this explains the situation, пﮟოьεԻ 57 10:00, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think here the issue is in the definition of "professional". Some people use the term when referring to semi-professional leagues, i.e. ones where players are paid, but they also have day jobs. WP:ATHLETE demands fully-professional, i.e. no other job than football. As far as I'm aware, only England and Italy are fully professional at the fourth level. пﮟოьεԻ 57 10:24, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Batuhan Karadeniz edit

This article is probably the best Turkish football one here. I'd like to see it become a good article Spiderone (talk) 15:17, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Keep up the good work. If someone removes something for no reason you can just revert it. Btw I'm going to Istanbul for a week this summer. My favourite places in Hong Kong are Lamma Island and the bit with all the tall buildings. Spiderone (talk) 15:02, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nihat edit

Do you have any free pics of Nihat Kahveci? His article needs one. Spiderone (talk) 10:14, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I'll be there from 22nd July to 29th. Spiderone (talk) 15:04, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Istanbul edit

Hey I've just got back from Istanbul. I stayed in Eminonu and went to lots of places like the Blue Mosque, Buyukada, Aya Sofya and Topkapi Palace. The food was some of the best I've had. Spiderone (talk) 16:34, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I also have some pictures to prove I went there. Spiderone (talk) 16:33, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Jenny Wolf edit

I believe she set a new world record in Salt lake on Dec 11. 37.00 for the 500m race in long track speed skating. See This link and this one as well; change her biography if you think the source is reliable. (I'm not on Wikipedia enough anymore to know I'm doing it right.) Thanks! Kickboxing edit

Hi Umi1903,

I'm also upset with fashion going on martial arts articles. I'm sick of these guys who just go around and delete other people's articles while contributing nothing whatsoever. Sadly, one guy has pretty much dismantled the kickboxing project on here. I have tried to continue my work here but almost every page I create gets nominated for deletion. I am trying my best but these nerds are starting to annoy me. Ssdly, I too will probably retire from Wiki soon.

Listen, I don't know what's going on with the kickboxing all of a sudden, but I think you should regroup. I hope you aren't taking my suggestion to merge and redirect to be the equivalent of a delete, because its not. Its a suggestion to put all your yearly events in one article, at least temporarily. The finals for these K-1 events will almost certainly not be deleted, so if you can structure your Final page to include all the lead-up events, there is no reason you can't have all the info you want. Just put it in a sub-heading. I'll try to do one for you, even though I have no interest whatsoever in kickboxing... The Steve  10:23, 18 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
