Embassies edit

Cziescz Isee1, I see, you are doing similar job taking pics of Embassies in Warsaw as I do in Prague, Thanks, but think to categorize them in Commons. [[Category:Diplomatic missions]] is not used. Use instead [[Category:Embassies by country]] and [[Category:Embassies in Warsaw]], easy isnt it? Dzienky in place of other wikipedians. --Krokodyl 23:29, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE:Embassies edit

Ahoj! Krokodyl,

Thanks for your message and point out the problem. You're dern tootin'! I will strive to shape up for the future.

Cziescz, I dont see the point why you removed your pics, well, Isee, it's your choice. IMHO, story about Australian Embassy is not worth of it. :( --Krokodyl 20:24, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi again,
You think I'm not right in this case? Everything plain for me. The rules are binding for all users or nobody. User Kransky is better than others? Whay I removed my pics? Because he(user Kransky)imitates that not understand essences of problems and his british-colonial attitude of mind shocks me!!! Isee1 18:19, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hello,
I'm sorry that you have decided to take out your pictures of embassies in Warsaw, I found them to be facinating and I really appreciated that you had taken them and had posted them on Wikipedia. Is there anything I can do to convince you to keep them on? I have read your discussion with Kransky, and though I don't agree, I don't believe that he meant to tell you to remove all of the pictures. Of course, it is your decision, but the pictures were wonderful, I was hoping to see what the Mexican embassy in Warsaw looked like, I will be sad to see them go! Isee, if other photos were not following the rules then you or anybody else could have removed them. I chose to remove photos, like your Australian Embassy one, because I know it does not occupy much of the building, but I did not remove other photos because, frankly, I do not have the time to check every single photograph that comes in and check to see that it is a representation of an embassy that fully occupies a building.
I never wanted you to remove the majority of your photos that were useful. Do not think I am not picking on you or following some "british-colonial attitude" (this comment makes me laugh though...) Kransky 00:55, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE:Mexican Embassy in Warsaw edit

Hi Aquintero,
The Mexican Embassy in Warsaw is located in two buildings. The main building of the Embassy with Ambassador's Residence and Main Chancery is located in Warsaw district called Park Szczęśliwicki (There also are Embassy of Albania, Albanian Ambassador's Residence, Embassy of Laos with Ambassador's Residence and Angolan Ambassador's Residence). The Consular Division of the Mexican Embassy with others embassy divisions is located in old diplomatic enclave in Warsaw district called Stary Mokotów (Rejtana corner Starościńska street). This is a complex of three fourteenstorey office buildings from the late 1970s and one fourteenstorey apartment building. I don't have a pics now but if I take a picture both of this buildings I will send you. Presently, You can see photos of others embassies located in Warsaw in Wikipedia category "Embassies in Warsaw" --> http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Embassies_in_Warsaw

p.s. If you are from Ciudad de Mexico D.F. you can take a pictures of Embassy of Poland located on c/Cracovia 40, Col. San Ángel, and Polish Ambassador's Residence located on Paseo de la Reforma 650, Col. Lomas de Chapultepec :)

love, regards --Isee1Isee1 21:37, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello,
Thanks for the information about the embassy location. Unfortunately I don't live in Mexico City, I was last there this summer, but I do try and go every summer, so when I return I will definetly try to take the picture and send it to you. I have seen the embassy, and from the outside all you can see is a wall, not much of the inside. Best regards! Aquintero 22:03, 16 October, 2007 (UTC)
