Long Belated Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hello, Izzynn, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!  Sorry for being belated in welcoming. Private Butcher 20:04, 27 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I don't mind the belatedness; I have used Wikipedia for quite a long time and only recently bothered to make an account for myself, so maybe I'm the one who should be sorry for belatedness, under an utterly weird sense of fairness. What really matters is more that things are done than when they are done (within limits, of course). Isaac Dupree 20:42, 27 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Spag's edit

I just wanted to thank you for mentioning in your edit comments to the article that Olive Borgatti deserves mention. I did a drive-by edit of the article last week and made sure she was included the corporate structure section since she was the company president from 1966 until her death in 1990. --Oddharmonic (talk) 19:11, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Fixing" links to redirects edit

For what it's worth, links to redirects (like [[alpha particles]]) are considered WP:NOTBROKEN, and don't need to be changed to something like [[alpha particle]]s. In some cases, they actually shouldn't be changed. Hope that saves you some sweat in the future   Ibadibam (talk) 23:32, 9 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
