Speedy deletion of "Apeiron Centre"

Organizations have to become notable before they can have articles

You asked C.Fred (talk · contribs) "How is it possible for a new and innovative organization, which by definition is non-evident and non-notable, to have access to the wikipedia?"

If by "access to" you mean "have an article on" it's not possible. That's by design. Wikipedia is a lagging indicator of notability: A subject don't get an article here until it's already been noted elsewhere enough to met the notability requirements.

So, if you want the organization to have a Wikipedia article, get it noticed in the press and elsewhere enough to warrant an article. By the way, people closely affiliated with organizations should not write articles about them, see Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 15:19, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

David's answer covers all the same points I would have. I will point out the general notability guideline, which spells out that subjects generally become notable once they've gotten significant, independent coverage in the media. Don't forget the independent part: press releases and similar self-publications do not qualify as independent coverage. —C.Fred (talk) 16:53, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

January 2009

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Apeiron, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Since you've already been notified and had the related article deleted, i'll assume you've done a one time editing test here and to avoid being blocked will not do such tests in the future. Thanks. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Anaximander. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you.
