Regarding the article scrotal inflation: the article describes this practice as "unusual" not as some kind of moral or aesthetic judgment, but simply to indicate that this is relatively uncommon practice, even in the experience of emergency room doctors, who see just about every possible sex-related mishap on a regular basis. The word "unusual" comes directly from the cited medical papers.
