The article Elliptical highway shield has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable (see, e.g., at Google) concept, possibly WP:OR; improperly generalizes a concept (the "elliptical highway shield") from practice in Mississippi. No evidence that this is generally recognized as a different or significant "type" of shield, rather than just that the shape is stretched out more to fit longer numbers as necessary.
